Treasure Coast Carpets & Interiors was a nightmare. Krissy, who was our sales person, was non-attentive and not detailed oriented at all. She was more concerned about her crying kid in the back room then paying attention to customers needs. We purchased tile from Treasure Cost and hired them to install the wall tile and shower tile floor in the master bathroom. First, the shower wall tile was mostly installed horizontally rather than vertically. I happened to walk into the bathroom in time to stop the installers, but more than half of the tile was already installed. I told the installers to remove the tiles as they installed them going in the wrong direction. I immediately called Krissy who said, there was nothing in the contract that said how it was supposed to be installed. I replied, "Don't you think it would have been a good idea to ask?" Of course she had nothing to say. She sounded as she always did - preoccupied with something else. Since the tile had to be removed, Krissy had to order more tile as they didn't have enough. After the installers finished the installation of the shower walls, they proceeded to do the shower floor. Again, I walked into the bathroom to see how much progress was being made and I immediately noticed the floor tile was two different colors. Either the lot number was different or it was a totally different color. Either way, it obviously didn't match. The installers had to rip up the floor and order more tile again. Days later, the installers came back but could not match the floor tile that they started to originally install. At this point, my wife and I drove back to Treasure Coast Carpets & Interiors and told Krissy NOT to send any of their people back to our home. My wife and I ended up buying new floor tile elsewhere for the shower and called a contractor who remodeled our previous home to fix the mess that Treasure Coast Carpets & Interiors had done. This project that was supposed to cost $4,521.87, ended up costing us almost twice as much money. And, instead of taking three days, it took three weeks. Snowbirds Beware!

Took forever.

I am extremely disappointed in the service and quality of product of Treasure Coast Carpets in Tequesta. After making a fairly small purchase of a runner carpet for my stairs in my 2nd home, the carpet is worn badly and looks years older than it actually is. This a 2nd home which results in only a few months out of the year occupied. Our main living area is on the first level. So these stairs are rarely are even used. After multiple calls and repeatedly no responses from Treasure Coast, I finally spoke with one of managers. She insisted that this was an issue that would have to be taken up with the vendor of the carpet. Treasure Coast felt no responsibility to even come out and take a look at the carpet. Two years life of a carpet, REALLY? I have a runner at the top of stairs that was purchased at a discount store. That inexpensive runner has held up 100% better than the carpet purchased from Treasure Coast. I was shocked at the lack of concern and customer satisfaction regard from Treasure Coast. I understand there is a certain lack of responsibility as the resaler but I would have expected at least some attempt to negotiate on my behalf with the carpet supplier. After all, I was their customer not the customer of the supplier. Shame on you Treasure Coast. This type of service will certainly not serve you well long term in this community! And to quote another reviewer, the only reason you are receiving 1 star is because I can't give you zero.

Krissy is great to work with. This is a family run business which I appreciate. They went out of their way to accommodate a tight deadline.

Excellent job. Did everything expected on time and on price. Will use again.

This family operated company gained my trust back in 2004 when I used them the first time.

The people in the store are fantastic, knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to be sure you are happy. they do not try to force you to do anything, or to spend anything. They are good honest people.

The quality of the work and value is exceptional.

The crew is competent and respectful of the home, they could not be nicer guys.

They did everything, from moving furniture, to jack hammering the ceramic, to leveling the floor, to grinding the high spots, to laying the floor, to installing the molding, to cleaning the floor ... they did it all!

I cannot say enough good about the company or it's staff!

The price was very good and competitive. They came and measured and did a good installation. They had to come back for one thing because the measurement was wrong. They had to reorder for more carpeting, but they came back and fixed the problem and everything turned out fine. They cleaned up very nicely and took care of all the mess.
