This business has grown rapidly since I originally started using them in 2013. In the beginning the owner sat at the counter in the showroom and dealt directly with customers as they came in. This business hires subcontrators to do all their work. The plumbing company they use has a rude plumber who worked on our master. He didn't like the faucets he had to install and left my job with a turn off valve under the sink that could not be operated because it bumped into the cabinet , so never could be turned off and one sink's stopper does not seal properly to hold the water in the sink. Mostly the work that was done in each case was acceptable to us and for the most part was done in a timely manner. The drawback in using Celtic is that this business does not offer any type of warranty on their work. So a mere 60 days after completing the most recent renovation, the guest bath, we encountered a bad leak. Since it was a guest bath it went undetected for 4 days. A call to Cliff Webber, the owner was met with " I'm on vacation with my family, just because you spring a leak months after we finish your job doesn't mean we are responsible". ( a direct quote). While we can understand that the call we made to Cliff was a surprise to him since he was on vacation ( which we only reached out to him as a last resort ,since he had given us his cell number and the main office was shut with no way to get a hold of anyone, and we didn't know the name of the plumbing company he used). Also it should be noted that more than once we apologized to Cliff for interrupting his vacation. WE also assumed incorrectly that as a business owner he would want to work with us, a long time client , to resolve any issue we had in the first 90 days at least. In our opinion since the work had been completed well within a 90 day period ( 60 days) it seemed reasonable to us to call his company. As it turns out the water leak stained the base cabinet and leaked onto the floor seeping into the newly installed base board, warped it so that it has to be thrown out and a new baseboard needs to be installed. When the emergency plumber came out ( the installing plumber did not respond to calls from the owner), he stated the valves were so loose that he was surprised the leak didn't have more force and damage. In our opinion Cliff Weber had the opportunity to DO THE RIGHT THING, or at the very least be polite. He not only didn't take ANY responsibility, although he did put in a call to his plumber , he was indignant that I called him. Well we had guests using that bath for the weekend and we were indignant Cliff Weber's subcontractor did a poor job tightening the valves and didn't call us back in a timely manner causing us to use a different plumber. While it very well may not have seemed to have been Celtic Tile's responsibility at the outset, the preponderance of the evidence ( confirmed by an outside plumber, no rocket science plumbing theories needed) showed it was Celtic Tile's responsibility.
Response from Celtic Home Gallery
"In response: In all fairness, we are legally required to use licensed subs for electrical and plumbing. All other personnel on the project were employees of Celtic. We ALWAYS warranty our work for one year. The plumber did call back the same day - and is responsible for the damage if it was directly caused by them - they were told that the client had already contacted someone else. We apologize and regret that you had an unhappy experience. CELTIC HOME GALLERY"

Overall very happy with quality of work and sub contractors used . Cliff webber of Celtic is very expert and good to deal with . They were not the cheapest alternative but we were happy to trade off some extra expense for quality . Unexpected issues which always arise were sorted in professional and fair minded manner .

Overall would definitely recommend

The job was started on Feb 3, 2014 and completed on April 30, 2014 although majority of work was completed by 4/14/2014 just some minor touch ups done in last two weeks.  I was told 6-8 weeks for the job so I feel like they were pretty close to on schedule.

I was very pleased with the work and especially how close the cost came to the estimate they provided before we started.  Another contractor told me I should be prepared to pay 5-15% more than the estimate because things just happen along the way.  I did make some changes along the way with Celtic but that was the only thing that caused my cost to increase from the estimate and we only went over our original plan by about $1000-2000.  I also was extremely pleased with all the subcontractors who worked on our job and the interaction between the contractor and subcontractor.  I was introduced to everyone and went over the each job ahead and they made many great suggestions that I did not even think of especially the electrical team.  I also appreciated the showroom team who helped me pick flooring, tile, paint color and more and more.  Some other places I was getting estimates from just sent you out on your own to pick and make design choices.  Geoff, Kelly and Tammy were all exceptionally helpful whenever I had questions, issues or problems.  Geoff was the go to guy and he always made sure to respond quickly to my needs by stopping by the condo or by sending the right person to do the job and even did many things for me that were not probably actually his responsibility.  I am sure there were many other people who were working behind the scenes that I did not see or interact with also.   There were a few items that did not turn out exactly as I had hoped but some were because of my own choices and some were minor items that I just didn't realize would look the way they did when finished.  Overall I am very happy with the work and would recommend Celtic for a full remodel or just to purchase products for you to install on your own. They have a great showroom and a small granite yard but access to many other providers as well.   Best of all their estimate was actually the lowest one I got for the work I was having done.

We were on a tight time schedule for the job to be completed before Christmas. They came through with flying colors. Manni the designer was both professional and innovative in his design. Geoff, the project manager, oversaw his top notch crew to make sure job was completed before Christmas . We would definitely use them for other projects

It was very good. Delphine was excellent. We were very pleased. The installer did an excellent job. He was subcontracted by a big box store. He did an excellent job.

From the start, Will at Celtic was terrifically helpful. I had an idea in mind of what look I wanted for my kitchen countertops, but had been frustrated in my search. Will took me around the showroom discussing different possibilities. I felt like he really listened to me. Sure enough, he came up with a Quartz sample that had just the right look. He and the installer, Rick, visited my home and really looked at the project making notes and asking questions. Rick was terrific and his measurements were just perfect! My one mistake was not totally conveying exactly what dimensions I wanted for my breakfast bar and I think is came out a little short. This was not the installer's fault, I should have taken to time to communicate my exact specifications.
Several weeks after the installation, I had friends arrive to stay in my home which had not been used since the countertops had been installed. They claimed that my new dishwasher was not working. I knew Rick had had to make some adjustments around the dishwasher as there was a very tight fit in that area. I called Celtic and they took care of the issue right away! Rick came right back to see what was going on, and it turned out that the plug had just come loose from the socket.
I cannot comment on if the price was high or low for the job as I had not gotten any estimates on quartz before. I believe one slab was used to fabricate my kitchen and powder bath countertops and the price was $4,000.
Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience working with Celtic Kitchen and Bath and wouldn't hesitate to call them or recommend them for any kitchen or bath remodeling job.

Cliff, the owner, was involved from the start. He is very knowledgeable, and has an eye fo r his work. They installed a new counter top on the center island with a new sink and faucet to match the new farmhouse sink and fixtures also installed in a 3 day period. The counter top had to be modified for the farmhouse sink and was done beautifully. All craftsmen were courteous, and punctual.A top notch outfit. I highly recommend them.
