About us
We’ve been providing quality cooling and heating services to the Florida Keys for nearly 20 years. We have been chosen many times for original design and cooling solutions that we provide as a part of our installation process. We also provide expert refrigeration equipment service. Equally important, we believe in making our customers more enlightened consumers, educating them about preventive maintenance, conservation and other measures that can help them save money on utility bills. We maintain regular training and hold weekly classes in our premises. Most of our technicians are NATE certified in air conditioning and refrigeration. All our staff is EPA certified and respects all environmental laws and local implementation in order to conserve the beautiful Florida Keys.

Houston Air was wonderful to deal with from start to finish. We called several air conditioning companies, as we are and quot;newbiesand quot; that are not full-time residents and unfamiliar with local companies. Houston was the only company with staff willing to make Saturday visits to assess the job site and accommodate our weekends only schedule to provide an accurate estimate. They helped identify alterative options to the very noisy pancake air handler that was pre-existing in our condo and they helped us through the process of choosing the correct size and seers of all three units we needed to have replaced. The units were ordered and arrived within the stated timeframes and our installation was scheduled and completed with the utmost professionalism. Our install consisted of removing and replacing 3 units, 2 of the units were completely different than the pre-existing. Install staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, clean and efficient and I am sure our 3 story application wasn't the easiest job to complete. The results are amazing as the units are super quiet and the humidity control function has made a huge difference in the air quality of our home. The reduced energy consumption at the end of the month is a pleasant surprise, as well. The office staff was just as helpful upon completion as our payment was processed and the warranties filed for us.
The installers arrived at 8am and were well prepared with drop cloths and all equipment necessary to complete the job. The finished before 2pm and completely cleaned the work site. Everything was done correctly the first time.
I have the extended 10 year warranty from Lennox as well as the yearly maintenance contract with Houston Air. I have had one problem with the blower, since the install and Houston Air arrived the same day for the repair.
