heard of such a thing. On a roof mount awning, there is a gap of about 9 inches from the roof to the bottom of the awning. this gap allows the sun to directly com into the shaded space. The two times we used the awning with guests, we had to go inside because peoples eyes were being blinded. The fix appears to be maybe adding a piece of aluminum or a fabric as suggested by David (sales), however they now want 300 to 500.00 more to do so. As I understand this may be a rare event overall, it seems to have made this exciting purchase a real disappointment. Especially from the lack of customer care after the sale. Perhaps they will reconsider and I can update this review but until then, you have my honest feedback, buy with caution for the customer after care, especially with their 10 year warranty. If after a few weeks this is how they value clients, my expectations have dwindled knowing after a year or two.
