Steve's Inspection Services

New roof needed wind mitigation and inspection. Steve was prompt and got us what we needed.

My friend is buying a house here but had to return north, and asked me to let Steve Inspection Services into house, and stay with him through the inspection. Though I new a little about house construction mechanical and electrical systems. After four hours of crawling all over the place, I know a lot more. Steve has this moisture sensor that he uses where it appears there might be a roof leak. It detects % of moisture in drywall to determine if there is a leak. if you want to know what might be wrong or what might need to be fixed with a house, Steve is your man.

Steve is a pro. I found him when I noticed his ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) decal on the back window of his truck, and followed him to his next stop. He spent several hours going over every aspect of the home, explaining along the way and suggesting solutions. His report included photos marked up to show each area of concern. Although his inspection turned up much more that I had anticipated, his thoroughness in explaining solutions left me feeling confident that I could purchase the property, given further negotiation with the Seller. Both his verbal and written explanations were clear and logical. I hope this is my last home, but if I ever buy another, I will use Steve's Inspections.

Overall, it went very well. He was very thorough. Everything was fine.

I was buying my first house and just happened to pick Steve from a list of inspectors. We found a house we made an offer on. We had Steve do the inspection, he was very professional and did a great job, creating a whole book with pictures he had taken and descriptions of everything he had found. He also rated things for us as to if they were small issues or serious. Steve found some foundation issues during the inspection that made me decide not to take the house. Then when we found a 2nd house that we liked, I called Steve again. He again was great and even gave us a small discount on the fee for the 2nd house. He again was very thorough and professional. The 2nd house inspection was much better and we bought the house. Thanks to Steve we ended up in a house without severe foundation issues and costly repairs. He made me feel better about a very stressful time. I will definitely use him again if we ever sell and look for another house in the area.

STEVE IS VERY COURTEOUS, PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. HE DID A VERY THOROUGH INSPECTION AND FOUND PROBLEMS THAT THE SELLER ULTIMATELY HELPED FIX. I FELT CONFIDENT IN MY PURCHASE THANKS TO HIS PROFESSIONALISM.
