They were an hour late and I had to call them and too expensive

I called Progressive Electrical Service when I couldn't get the breaker to reset.  As this was the breaker for the refrigerator I was concerned that someone could get here before food started to go bad.  I called this provider because I had used them before and was pleased with their service.  They were here in about a 1/2 hour, so no spoilage.  He also looked at the fan in one of my bathrooms and got it working again for no charge.  I am very pleased with this provider and their fast service.

Getting new dishwasher but needed the electrical outlet installed. Randy responded immediately and was able to send someone out the same day.  We are very pleased and we would definitely use Randy and Progressive Electrical Svcs again in the future.  Highly recommend!

We had contacted PROGRESSIVE ELECTRICALSERVICES INC / ELECTRIC INC,
before coming down for a two week vacation
and arranged for them to come in and install a ceiling fan box and fan in one
of our bed rooms. This required them to go into the attic and cut in and wire
the fan box. The orginal quote for the work was $275.00 for 3 hours of work, $125
for the first hour and $37.50 for each additional half hour, without installing
the fan. After thinking about it we decided to just have them install the fan
as well and when I called the office back they quoted that would now be around
$300.00 to $325.00 dollars and we were good with that and schedule the work for
8:30 Monday morning 10/6/14.
The technician was an half hour late,
but that wasn?t a big deal to us as we didn?t have anything else planned that
day except to do some other work around the house. After the work was completed
the technician presented us with a bill for $383.00 dollars, which included $67.00
dollars for parts, $262.50 for 3 and half hours of work and a $50.00 service
charge. Now I know that the ceiling fan mounting box is about $10 - $12 at Lowes
or Home Depot and I?m sure they get them for less than that and the switch and
wire may have ran him about $20 at the most and so I feel that the $67.00 in
materials is a little much and where was did the $50.00 ?Service Fee? come
from?
On top of the final cost, the technician
left hand prints and marks on our white ceiling that my wife had to clean and
we later found a piece of wire sticking out of the ceiling near the wall were
the switch was.
When I called the office about the cost,
I was told that it was the addition of the fan install that caused the price to
be that high even through it only added a half hour to the original quoted time
of 3 hours, but I was not given an explanation on the cost of the materials and
the $50.00 service fee. The explanation for the wire sticking out of the
ceiling was that the technician uses that to locate the wall from up in the
attic so he knows where to drill down from to run the wire and that usually
they pull the wire out and fill the hole with caulking so you can?t see it.
I picked this vender over others because
they had many good reviews on Angie?s list, but I will not use them again.

Ken gave me a rough price estimate over the phone. He then came to our location and gave us the best price quote and service. He was honest on the phone, knowing the job was less than one hour and minimal parts required. We had other companies come to the location and quote prices 3x higher. 
I would highly recommend Progressive for anyone's electrician needs.

We had a new outlet installed for an electric dryer, a fan and light installed where there was none, and a remote added to an existing fan. The gentleman who came out was friendly and hard working. He did an excellent job. At the end, the bill was higher than we'd been quoted, so he made a call to his boss and worked it out. We will definite use them again.

Great response time. We had called another Electrician we had used previously but they didn't seem to care or need the work because they were in no hurry to get us taken care of.  I called Progressive Electrical Services, it seems there are two different companies with the same name so be sure you use the one with the Tarpon Springs address.  Randall arrived within 30 minutes of the call, found the problem, replaced the GFI and replaced a fan motor in the Lanai bathroom.  No hassle, no fuss.  I would definitely us this company again.  Randall is knowledgeable, professional, friendly.  The work was a good value for the work performed.  They even had a $20 off first visit coupon.

It went well and I appreciate that the repairman was willing to help check up on my house.

I called progressive electrical services after having a home inspection for home owners insurance, and the home inspector had noted that the proper cover was not on my outside electrical panel. Progressive electrical sent someone out the following morning. Jim arrived on time and completed all the work. Jim is an excellent electrician, very patient, very eager to make the customers happy and very good listener ensuring to get the correct details to do the right work for the customer. I can't say enough about this company, they responded immediately, sent a very professional and knowledgeable electrician and did the work in no time. I would highly recommended them. I will be using them in the future for all my electrical needs. They are very knowledgeable, easy to work with , and are eager to make the customers happy. I contacted this provider when another provider was unable to keep an appointment and I needed the work done within two days. I explained the situation and Because the work I needed was relatively straight forward, and I already had all the necessary materials, I was able to get a minimum/ maximum quote within 30 minutes, and an appointment for the next morning. The price for the hours worked was competitive, perhaps even a bargain because it was pre-quoted. The technician was professional and thorough. I would use this company again.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH RANDY,  I CALLED LAST MINUTE & HE CAME STATING HE HAD A CANCELATION.
I COUND NOT HAVE BE MORE PLEASED.  HE FOUND SO MANY HAZARDOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES, HAD I NOT HAD
THIS INSPECTION I COULD HAVE BURNED UP IN THAT HOUSE, AS THE HOME INSPECTOR DID NOT DISCOVER

It went great.  The tech who showed up did some troubleshooting but the problem was pretty bizare.  He called and the owner fo the company came within 30 minutes to assist.  The problems were resolved and everything is working great.

Brief background. I built this barn in 1995 and it was never really designed for A/C or electric. It served its purpose for almost 20 years till my wife and I decided to use all the spare space in the barn (including 2nd fl hay loft) for an office, bathroom and storage. It already had horse stalls and wash rack. I called around and was referred to Electric inc. by a good friend who used them to wire his business. Checked them out on Angie's list and decided to give them a call. Ken Priches (mgr of the North Pinellas office) came out to check out the job. He was extremely patient with my wife and I as we weren't totally sure what we needed or wanted in the form of fixtures or placement of receptacles. The barn needed many different circuits since we were adding A/C, hot water heater for bathroom, ceiling fans, light fixtures, receptacles, both 120 and 220volt. and perimeter lighting.
Ken's was different from the other  estimates I received. He gave us advice continually through the whole job, and did not charge us for change orders as many times my wife and I added things and sometimes decided to relocate fixtures. My GC had pulled the permit and worked perfectly with Ken and his team. Ken really knows his stuff. Gives sound advice and was extremely fair with us on price. Although all his electricians that I met were super nice and friendly, I must say "Joe" was incredible. His work was very neat and orderly, done to perfection and always cleaned up at the end of the day. His work was so neat and unique the way he wrapped and pulled his wires, the county inspector looked at the work one day and asked me who did the wiring. I asked him why he asks and he said he's never seen such neat and orderly circuits in the walls. I especially liked the fact that Ken and his team treated my project like it was their most important job even though it was a barn, not some 2 mil dollar home. My GC thought very highly of them as well.
I cant say enough about this company, I would highly recommend them. And if all this wasn't enough, the owner of the company, Randy called me when the job was done and asked if he could come out and take a look at the job. He came by, checked a few things and asked me if I like the job.  While he was there he even changed a light bulb for me in a perimeter light that was 25 feet up and burned out prematurely. (I supplied fixture from Home Depot) I'm not crazy about heights and ladders.
If you have any electrical needs, you wont be sorry having Progressive on the job. Top Notch company....

Called ahead to say he was on his way. Installation was done in amount of time stated. Worker was friendly and also informative of questions regarding other services we inquired about. My husband had some questions about an outlet in our master bedroom and he was kind enough to come take a look. Would definitely use again in future.

Overall, the job was performed  by Paul, the electrician, in a professional manner that greatly exceeded all owner expectations.  I had 3 full rooms whose electrical outlets were inoperative and thus this job involved complex troubleshooting. The job was highly complex because the outlets were controlled by various circuits not necessatily in the same room as the inoperative outlets, meaning each circuit controlled outlets in multiple rooms.  For one oultlet,  the electrical wires were accidentally stapled by the original builder in the attic and the stables finally penetrated the wires making then inoperative and this break in the circuit affected not only the nearest outlet but all the outlets in another room.  New holes had to be drilled in the attic flooring so that new  electrical wires could be installed without affecting the drywall, a delicate operation.  Paul, the electrician, gets an A+++ for timely and accurately troubleshooting and correcting all deficiancies.  Paul arrived on time, worked smart and kept the owner updated on issues as they unravelled.  I WILL ALWAYS USE THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITLY RECOMMEND THEM WITH A 100% CONFIDENCE LEVEL.
