Have used Ken's Tree Service over many years in 2 different houses. They are the best. Prices are well worth the results. They are friendly, prompt, cooperative and do an all-around great job.

I do not like to write bad reviews, I did call and send a email to Ken's with no response. I did see that Ken's responded to a negative review on Google. My service was performed on late Friday afternoon, August 26, 2016 We agreed that two trees would be cut down in small sections and left in my yard in "chunks". The work order clearly reflects this. What I came home to was two trees cut down fully intact, crushing our brick fire pit. This is the email I sent to Ken''s, I also called immediately when I got home Friday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ken's Tree Service, I am not looking for a refund. I want the team at Ken's to know that the job was not close to the work agreed to. I did call when I got home on the day of service and looked at the work. The trees were to be cut down and left in chunks. What I found was two large trees cut off at ground level, laying across the length of my backyard. Nothing was cut except the base. I worked for two hours and got the trees in the condition it should have been. To make a poor job worse, both trees were dropped across my fire pit. I am in the process of replacing the border that was moved due to impact. Finally, I live on a dead end street. You will see my gate down the side of the house with direct access (straight shot) from the street. What I can't figure out is why the crew decided to drive the lift diagonally across my front yard. From the front right corner of the driveway to the left back corner of my yard. A person could not have tried to make it a longer trip. I told the woman on the phone this information and she did say she would make Ken aware of this. As I am typing it really is laughable at how poor the job was completed. Friday afternoon and feels like everyone just wanted to go home. We are local and try to use local companies, we use referrals. Can't see any reason to recommend or use Ken's tree service again. We know people have off days, but this was just a lack of effort or concern from the moment the crew arrived to the time I called after service I would think a email and phone call with these issues should justify a call from Ken's.

Ken himself is a real professional who you feel very comfortable with right from the the time you meet him. Explains exactly what will be done and how. His crew were great and no worries at all. Another gentleman was contracted through Ken to grind the left over stump and he too was professional. In the business 40+ years and the procedure was facinating to watch. When all was done you would never know a tree had been there. I would not hesitate at all recommending Ken's Tree Service to anyone and will certainly use him again.

I have used this provider for a very long time and would still give them an A+. He is always top notch! He recently took out a final large tree for me. He is always very nice and personable, and he is the only one I will ever use.

Cut down and removed all debris from a large dead palm tree, large diseased holly tree, and dead oak. They got the permit from the city. They came as a team and worked together quickly and professionally and we were very impressed and pleased with the job they did. Price was very reasonable.

I got four estimates for cutting down a large oak growing near the floundations of a house. Ken, who we have used before, offered to do the job for less than half what the other tree services asked. Less than half! We were astonished but very pleased. Ken came just when he said he would and did the job in half a day. No debris was left behind, the ground was raked to remove the marks of the job and we are very pleased indeed with the work. Ken will have our business in future and we heartily recommend him to others both for his professionalism and his prices!

The work was scheduled for a specific date at 9:00am. Around 9:30 I called Ken to ask where he was and he said he was on his way. Around 9:45 he called me to say he was at another job and double-booked me so he would have to reschedule. We set a new date. He called again the following week to say he had equiptment trouble and would need to get it fixed before he booked the job. Two weeks later he called and booked the job again. I asked "will you be on the job to manage the work" and he said yes. Well he wasn't. The trees were trimmed, they did not clean up the property or the street. They left tarps, ropes and cuttings everywhere. I will never use this company again.

This was truly an experience to watch. The crew was only 2 or three men working at any time. They were able to drop every limb, branch or trunk piece and have it fall exactly were they wanted it to fall. They were cautious with street traffic, they were aware of property that needed to be protected and cleaned up as they went.In less that two days they were finished and everything back in its place.They were not the lowest price but they had great ratings on Angies list and I now know why - they earned the ratings.
I would hire them again and again.

Ken is very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Ken had a keen understanding of what we were trying to accomplish with the overall tree trimming and tree removal. Ken is an arborist which comes with a higher price for services, however, you get what you pay for!. Ken exceeded our expectations. We would use him again and highly recommend him.

Ken was very knowledgeable, much more than many of the other companies I received estimates from. His estimate was a bit higher than the other 4 I received, but decided to go with someone that I felt would do the job correctly. Very professional.

Selected Ken's Tree Service based on references from people we trusted who had used them as well as their List evaluations. We were very careful in our selection as tree services are not always viewed with the highest regard.

Very pleased to have used them. Ken came out for the initial estimate, walked the entire job discussing what we wanted as well as his recommendations and we agreed on scope. Price was reasonable in my opinion. They showed up as scheduled, with a full complement of professional equipment (unlike experiences we have had with others). We (Ken, crew and I) walked the job before they actually started work, making sure there were no misunderstandings and that the crew understand it all. The crew worked hard and as a team, no wasted time, and did a fine job. One thing that struck me was that the whole crew was easy to talk to and all were knowledgeable about their work. Completed job looks very good. Property was left in excellent condition when they left. Even a neighbor who had seen them working commented on the teamwork and neatness.

We would not hesitate to recommend them and will use them again when we need tree service.

They were courteous, very professional, and knowledgeable. They did a lot of work. It was great. They did a good job at a very reasonable price. I liked them a lot.

The company was on site within minutes and began work.  They provided a written estimate and the workers were extremely professional as was the company owner.  I was very satisfied.

Ken came in person with his equally well-qualified assistant and they both examined every tree on the property of our development. They took their time and explained their recommendations in detail. After we obtained a tree-cutting permit from the City, whose arborist agreed with Ken's recommendations, Ken's crew came back on the day planned and carried out the job quickly and efficiently. They had all the right equipment, they were experienced, careful and painstaking in their work. I watched the guy trimming branches out of trees to remove mistletoe and he trimmed out dead branches as well, opened up the middle of the tree to promote growth and just did an amazingly thorough job on each tree he tackled. The next day the crew returned to remove the logs that had been too big to grind. When they were done, they had removed three trees entirely, removed branches hanging over roofs and lanai areas from many more and cleaned mistletoe out of others. It was a major job but they left the place clean as could be.

He has Up to date equipment. I trust him with my tree service. If I had to call someone today, I would call him. He does it properly and professionally.

Ken was prompt, responsive, fairly priced (we had three estimates) and very professional. We will need more work done and will call him to do it.

They were reliable and came when they said they would come. They did what they told me they would do.

Ken is great. He is always responsive to calls and thoroughly cleans up areas after he is finsishes the job. This is the second time I've used him and I have been very pleased with his team's work both times. I definately recommend his services.

They came to my home and gave me an estimate, which was a flat fee. They came on time and they did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure there was no debris left.
