Well, if you need more information, let me share this with you. Last year, i took an electric start mower to them. It was my first time dealing with John's Lawn Mowers. The mower wouldn't crank on battery and wouldn't start on pull cord. They did do am good job of repairing the carb; when I got the mower back, it would start on the first pull. However, they claimed they could do nothing for the battery issue as it need a new one and they don't carry it. Fair enough! Johns charged me $35 to diagnose battery issue from the main switch to the battery which is housed in the deck and to check all connectors. The diagnoses a dead battery. A weak or so after I got home, I took the deck apart to get to the battery and replace it. What did I find? The battery compartment was filled with grass and dirt...it had never even been opened by John's Lawn Mowers. Further more, the main connector was completely corroded, proving beyond a doubt that they never looked into the battery issue, but charged me the labor falsely. All I had to do was cut out the corroded connector and splice the wires together and my mower cranked away! My wife convinced me to give them another chance, with my edger, since they did do a good job with the carb on the mower. Maybe, she reasoned, they just don't know batteries and electric start systems. So, I gave them one more try; Which, you just read about! I won't be back and I recommend you find someone more honest to do business with as well.

I brought the pressure washer to John at 9am and it was ready by 12pm.  Very impressed with the fast turn around as it was most helpful.

I had purchased a new mower a year before and called John's to do yearly maintenance. His son answered the phone and arranged the date and time.
They picked up my mower on time - tuned it up, sharpened the blades, , oil change etc and cleaned it !
John delivered it back to the house - started it up and it has been working great. Will be calling again for my yearly tune-up in a few months. Looking forward to working with them again.
Thanks. :)

I called John and told him my Craftsman DYT4000 ran fine, but the belt was smoking when I engaged the blade. He said he offered pickup for riders, but suggested that I just bring the deck in to save money. It ended up being just one pulley, and the others were fine. He replaced the problem pulley, sharpened the mulching blades of the mower, and charged a VERY reasonable $56. JOHN IS THE MAN!!!

We had purchased the lawnmower used and didn't want to invest any money in it if it wasn't worth it.

He tuned it up, sharpened blade, set carburetor, and other basic annual service items.

He also addressed issues of replacing shut off cable, air filter, and 2 gaskets..

He said the motor was good so it was worth fixing and now we are set for the mowing season.

Provided an itemized tag with costs of everything that was completed.

We dropped our lawn mower to be repaired at John's Lawn Mowers and picked it back up the next day. We're happy with the results. He did an excellent job and his prices were reasonable. He was quick and diagnosed and fixed the problem in a day. I will use them again, anytime I need lawnmower service.

Self propelled mower had been in storage for 3 years while I was out of the country and would not start even though I had prepped it before putting it in storage. Dropped it off on Monday and John called saying it was ready on Tuesday. He had cleaned carburetor and sharpened the blade. Works fine now. Good service and timely.

After contact was made, John of John's Mowers made contact to set up time to pickup my riding mower… he was prompt arriving even early to pick up my rider…. the mower was delivered back to my residence at least a day earlier than promised…. John was very helpful, and did all work promised, and then some…. This rider is ten years old, and is the first time it has been overhauled. John was very methodical, and thorough, even cleaning the ten year old mower... The mower rides and cuts as well as it did when new.
Should I ever need small engine repair in the future, I will first call John's Mower shop in Tarpon Springs!!! Thanks John for a great job!

John contacted us with the work performed. He informed us that, while the unit was quite usable, it did not idle. To fix that would require $40 to rebuild the carburetor. An option he really wasn't recommending. When the unit was taken home and put to use, it was just as he said. It operated fine as long as the engine speed was kept above what would be idle. Somehting which was easy to do as it is a weed whacker/edger which is normally at operating speed. I found John to be very honest, reasonabley priced and quick to perform the work/return the unit. I would use John's services again and would definitely recommend him to others.

I needed help getting a pressure washer running. I left it with John for a couple of days and he got it going. I had trouble with it again a few days later and John had me bring it back to him and he fixed while I waited.
