DBH Air

DBH Air came out to do a yearly service and give an estimate to reduct the family room addition on the house. They were recommended by someone who had done a good job cleaning our ductwork. The room was not cooling properly during the previous summer. The work was done the next April. During the time the work was being done, a hole was cut in the ceiling for a new return vent. There were two men working but the man in the attic cut the hole without having the other man hold the ceiling material and a piece was ripped loose when the cut out dropped. They did not fix this and just said "oh well, we're sorry that happened". We also discovered later that one of the men had backed over and broken a sprinkler head with his truck. When we called about it, he tried to deny it and they did not pay for the damage. When summer came, the room still did not cool properly. We called them back and they did not want to fix it. They said there were no guarantees that it would fix the problem. They finally said they would come back out. They charged us $1000 the first time and then another $723.00 the second time and the room still does not cool. It came down a degree or so but still was not right. My husband went into the attic recently to put some things away and discovered that the plenum box had been crushed where the new duct was attached and there was a gaping hole where air was being sucked into the system from the attic. He called to have them come out and fix it and they said they didn't do it and would not come and fix it. Both times they sent two men. One of them stood around half the time while the other one was working in the attic as he was too large to fit in the spaces where the ducting had to be done. The first time I cleaned up the mess as they went so they wouldn't track things through the house. The second time I let them clean up. They only half cleaned up the dust and debris. We have spent over $1800 and the room isn't any cooler than it was before they started.
