Custom Couture of Tarpon Springs

I was admittedly running out of time to find anyone really to get the bustle done for my dress. I was lucky enough to find Candi with only two weeks left till my wedding! She happily took me in and told me it would be the wednesday before my wedding that it would be done. Much to my surprise it was done even sooner and done in such a beautiful and discrete way I couldn't have been happier! Candi and all the employees are extremely accommodating, helpful and talented willing to do anything as delicate as a wedding dress to something a sturdy as a couch cover!

The quality of the work that was done exceeded my expectations. The dress turned out beautifully however the cost of the dress was $140, the cost of the alterations was $170. I was speechless when I saw the total. Additionally, I felt as though the communication should have been better with out me having to call to find out when I would be able to pick up the dress. I was also disappointed to find out the plans that were discussed to create a sash for the dress did not work out only when I went to pick up the dress. We were able to brainstorm creating a belt for the dress, however it would have been added additional cost. With only one week until the event I had to scramble to come up with an acceptable substitute.

It went beautifully!! She (Candace I believe) told me my dress was one of the biggest she has worked on. It was a very Cinderella-ish dress, Only the bust needed to be altered but there was some extra netting left on it from when it was made and they cleaned that all up as well. I was EXTREMELY nervous about this dress, the size, the look everything, she put my mind at ease and did above and beyond for me!! I would use then again without fear. Love the work they did and the at ease, homey atmosphere of the shop.

The ladies at Custom Couture customized my mom's wedding dress to help make it my own. They gave constructive feedback and competed the dress on time.

Everyone at Custom Couture of Tarpon Springs, was very professional, catered to my particular wants and needs. And when they were finish I had a beautiful wedding dress. Everyone at my wedding loved the dress and wanted to know where I got it.

My new winter raincoat needed the sleeves shortened. The raincoat was lined with a removable liner and decorative band on each sleeve. Ms. Thomas shortened the sleeves and liner in addition to repositioning the decorative bands on each sleeve. There was a lot of detailed work to be done. Ms. Thomas called me when shortening the sleeves making an excellent recommendation as to where to position the bands on the sleeves. I trusted her decision in this process and was amazingly pleased when I picked up my raincoat. The raincoat was ready in two weeks as promised. I am just so impressed with her work! My raincoat looks fantastic! The 'pride, professionalism and detail' seen in her tailoring is truly outstanding! I am so satisfied and impressed and will definitely go back again. I 'highly recommend' Ms. Thomas to anyone looking for an excellent tailor!

I had a suit altered, three pair of slacks let out, pants shortened and even a pullover tailored. Excellent work and very nice folks.

Very personable and helpful in major decisions on look of gown. I would have had a few more things done to the gown but due to the distance from my home, I chose to tackle a few of the things on my own or get someone else closer to home. I would have preferred more mirrors and a circular step up to view all angles but with that said, I felt very satisfied with what was done.

My wife was delighted with the work. The staff was very nice and very dedicated. Considering the massive amount of work, they were really fast. They did not take longer than they said they would.

I have been using this provider for quite some time -- first at her location in Clearwater and now at her new place in Tarpon Springs (I live in St. Pete and she's worth the drive!). I had lost a good bit of weight and my clothes no longer fit me. She was highly recommended by a friend, so I went with a couple of suits and a few pairs of pants. She measured my every dimension, made a few marks, and told me my stuff would probably be ready in a few days but please give her a week. I went back a week later, tried everything on, and everything fit perfectly -- much better than it had fit when I bought it by size off the rack. It was like I had a new, custom-tailored wardrobe! Last week was my first visit to her new location; she altered a few garments for me and repaired a seam, and her work was as perfect as ever. She also designs and makes beautiful clothes "whole cloth" (pun intended).
