AFFORDABLE QUALITY FLOORS

He cleaned the floors and applied a finish that took him all of 5 hours total. It took him days of working an hour or 2 a day to complete this 5 hours. Job not started until 09/16 completed 09/19. We were told his "crew" would come in and the job would take 2 full days to complete. We never saw any crew. He installed ceramic tile in guest bath. Took 8 days for completion, but worked only a few hours total. Toilet in tub and door off hinges for days. Then told me he didn't use the backerboard, it would have made the floor to high. Which means the floor will now crack and also moisture can be an issue. Paid $150.00 on 09/05- (job not completed at that time). Hardwood flooring for bedroom: was ordered within days, then we were told the wrong wood came in (twice we got that excuse) then we were ongoingly told excuse after excuse. We would call him every couple of days for updates, he would call us back with an excuse. The flooring company went out of business, his partner (John) took off with the wood) his secretary (Terry) was suppose to handle it. We finally told him 2 weeks ago we wanted our money back. He promised that within a few days he would give our money back. We left him a message on his voice mail over a week ago and informed him we would be taking legal action at this time. Today is 10/21/08, we do not have the hardwood flooring nor do we have our $1217.33.
