They were punctual, professional, friendly. The old doors were wood and rotten they took care of them, cleaned up after themselves. Installed the new ones without a hitch. I would recommend them to anyone.

West Coast's Dave Dollbaum , owner and entrepreneur is a winner. Great experience. A small, high-quality, ethical, long-term, family-owned business with hands-on owner and close-knit, long term employees installing to owners quality standards. Committed to a schedule and met the schedule, no excuses. More competitive with heavily-advertised, high-volume "big guys". Immediately wins your trust. Operate mostly on referrals. I was fortunate to be referred. If you need windows or sliding glass doors, go to their showroom and have Dave explain their high-quality products. Then have Dave look at your home. Start of a very satisfying experience.

The house looks like it's brand new. I can't say enough about the price, service, and outcome. The owner (Dave) is straight-forward, clear and helpful. The installers were highly skilled, clean, and timely. We are new owners, and this is likely the biggest job we'll take on in the first five years of owning... I can't imagine a more satisfying experience. Dave answered all of my questions and was very patient; Sam and Sean the installers were the best. It's a somewhat invasive process and they were incredibly clean and considerate. The windows are quiet, sleek, and sturdy. I strongly recommend.

Response from WEST COAST WINDOWS & EXTERIORS
"[Member named removed] was remodeling a rental property and asked me for the least expensive sliding glass door we install. I quoted him for an aluminum sliding glass door and 2 exterior doors for the utility rooms. I explained to [member name removed] that a standard door is 81" tall and his doors were 76" meaning the doors would have to be cut down at the factory to a custom size. I also explained to [member name removed] that the fiberglass doors were not going to rot out in 5 years and were higher quality than the ones from the box stores. [Member name removed] signed a contract with me that day, without asking for other brands or a negotiation of price. I did not pressure [member name removed] or offer him a discount to sign that day. The total contract was for $2125 for the 3 doors which is about $700 per door installed. [Member name removed] called 2 days after signing the contract upset with the cost of the exterior doors. He asked me to cancel the 2 exterior doors from the order but still wanted the sliding glass door installed. Since the cost of the sliding glass door was lower than the original deposit [member name removed] had put down, he was to receive a refund for the difference in cost. I told him at that time the SGD would be $750 and I would send a check for the difference between the sliding glass door and the deposit with the installer when we put in the sliding glass door. On the day of the installation, I forgot to give the check to our installer. Our installer informed [member name removed] of my mistake, and told him that I mailed [member name removed] the check. The check was sent out July 21 and it was cashed July 31. I have a copy of the check from my bank. We have never kept a deposit from a customer in 23 years. We have never had a complaint from the BBB in 23 years. West Coast Windows would not have enjoyed such a long existence if we were not competitive in pricing. Since we service products after installation we work with companies that have a proven track record of quality. We may pay more for our product, but this is because we have found that our products have a greater longevity and overall make our customers satisfied. I'm sorry that I didn't do a better job explaining this to [member name removed], and wish him the best of luck with all other renovations. Dave Dollbaum Owner WCW"

Fantastic. They got the color correct, the design correct and really put some effort into getting that colonial shutter just right so it was functional as a hurricane shutter, yet an asset to the home. They were prompt, made sure I understood what we were getting and how they would work. I swear, those shutters are so well made, they will out last the home. They even came by after installation to inspect their work.

Very good estimate and a perfect installation job. The workers were respectful and neat. They had to take down and replace the blinds and drapes and everything was done efficiently and carefully. We had used this vendor in the past and when we had a warranty issue with a third-party hurricane protection product, West Coast stood behind the work and forced the third-party manufacturer to replace the product (this took quite a bit of time to obtain the replacement product and re-install it). We have been very pleased with both experienced with them.

The quote process went well, we discussed many many different options to meet my budget and design needs. Dave was very helpful and quick to respond when I called. When we finally decided on a firm window configuration, we gave him a deposit and the windows came in within 3 weeks. The installation had a small hiccup but that was not the fault of Dave or West Coast Windows and was rectified quickly. Overall II have nothing t good things to say about dave and West Coast Windows. his installer SAM was the same installer who came out to install windows at our other home in 2005 so it was nice to see the same installer.

West Coast Windows installed windows for my neighbor who strongly recommended this company plus there were excellent reviews on Angie's list. Dave, the owner, came out with a sample window, took initial measurements and explained in detail the options available. The written proposal was sent within two days of his visit. I went over to the showroom and his secretary, Doreen, was very courteous as she explained the samples on the floor and even took me into the warehouse to see shipments that were loaded for installation. I could not have asked for more professional installers. Very pleasant personalities and they cleaned up around every area they worked. Once installation was completed, I was given the completed TECO paperwork for the rebate to mail in. The house feels much less humid and the temperature stays about 72. The air conditioning has rarely come on, but of course this will change as the outside temperature gets warmer. The new windows and doors not only upgraded the home but are beautiful both inside and outside the home. I am completely satisfied with the job.

I contacted West Coast Shutters and they came for the consult that took 10-15 minutes. Since they take and quot;exacting measurementsand quot; from the window, which generally are not exactly even, they are made to order. It does take 2-3 months to get them installed because of this.
You then receive a phone call for an installation date. They are professional and personable. It only took them 30 minutes from start to finish to install my shutters in the office. They are such a breath of fresh air with their product and service!

Excellent
The first stage of measuring and quoting was done quickly and professionally. They gave us some unique designs on some of our large windows. The pricing was very competitive.
The windows were ordered, delivered, and installed exactly as originally scheduled.
The installers did an excellent job removing the old windows and installing the new. They left each area as clean as when they started. The new windows were installed with no damage to the existing stucco. Very little paint touch-up was required when they finished.
Overall we are very satisfied with our new windows

The best way to capture it all is ... The best contractor experience I have EVER had.

From start to finish, Dave and his crew met every expectation, answered every question, showed up everytime on time ready to go....just great.

Dave personally came out to the house multiple times before we signed a contract, took the time to show and explain things initially to me, and then to my wife...bringing examples and information to help us understand the products and the process. I researched their products (in this case Vi-Wintech doors and windows) against the others....and balanced products and prices.

In some cases people are concerned going with the and quot;lowest bidderand quot;....because you and quot;get what you pay forand quot;. For this one, that definitely WASNT THE CASE. We did a lot of research to try to differentiate out who's product was better using the industry / government specs....all together...the differences were negligible between all the offerings of the products. In the end....our decision was made on what the products looked like, operated like...My wife REALLY liked the doors....and most importantly the way we were treated by Dave and West Coast.

There was a little delivery delay because of the time of the year (around the holidays), Dave kept me up to date, working with me to alter installation timelines because of my job, and other items that were wrapped with the installation.

The installation crew from West Coast was awesome....always on time, always professional. They answered all my questions during the installation and took time to show me things when necessary. The work itself was surprisingly low impact on our daily routine. The whole installation took 3 days, about 7-8 hours a day. All the doors went in on one day, and the windows took two more. Very little damage to the surrounding stucco / plaster.....so minimal touch up work after the fact......AWESOME.

The installers brought to our attention a few small defects in the doors after they installed them....and immediately ordered replacement parts to correct...I didnt have to badger them or anything. The parts came in a week or so later and a factory tech came out and put them in....no issues.

Dave came out personally to look at the work, finish up paperwork and payment, and provided me all the paperwork (already filled out) to submit for the appropriate rebates from the energy company and government. Going above and beyond, West Coast was able to help out with additional paperwork and details to document the work since I was rolling some of the cost in with a home refi.

Again...great job, and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend these guys to family and friends (matter of fact, I already have).

They did a good job. They were nice people to deal with. They performed the work just the way they told me they would. The man who came to give us the bid took great deal of time in figuring out what was best for each particular window. We had multiple types of shutters used according to what he felt was good for each window opening to give us security. They really took time in figuring out what was best for us and what we needed. I am assuming that the work they did is of good quality. I spoke with my insurance company, and they said that everything was based according to my policy premium. I am assuming that the products are of standard to pass inspection. I think they are good. I had a good experience with them.

We got an estimate from them, however when we looked at who their actual supplier was, we decided to go with someone else. They just did not rate up there with everyone else. The sales person was professional, listened to what we were looking for, took the measurements and gave us the estimate.
