I spoke to 6 highly rated dock builders and chose Waterfront Eng. and I couldn't' be happier! Jan from the Treasure Island office was responsive to our needs and designed the best dock for our situation. It took some time from signing to installation but Jan was upfront about his schedule and definitely worth the wait! The crew was outstanding! I was able to observe the entire process, these guys didn't miss a detail and they worked together like a well oiled machine! I would not hesitate to recommend Waterfront to anyone needing a dock or boat lift!

We are very happy with Jan and his crew. They arrived very early each day, most often by 6:30 am! The finished details on the dock were more than we expected. Their care with our property, swift and steady work, price, and attention to detail are very much appreciated.

When our seawall needed to be replaced, there was only one company to call. Waterfront Engineering has replaced so many seawalls in our neighborhood and has such a great reputation that it would have been a waste of time to contact anyone else! Danny is awesome! He is very responsive, explains the whole process, takes care of all the permitting, and stays in contact throughout the process so that you always know what's going on and when different stages will be completed. His workers are some of the most polite men I've ever met! They were super conscientious about keeping the gate to our yard closed since we have a dog, and they left the work site in good condition at the end of every day. We are very happy with our new seawall, and the modifications to our boat dock make it much more functional. Thank you, Waterfront and Danny!!

I have to say that working with Danny and his crew at Waterfront Engineering has been the best experience I could have imagined. We have a townhouse in a gated community in Apollo Beach.  We had to work not only with the EPC for a variance due to the previous owners violations, but also with the association to be sure it was approved.  It took us a year, but Danny was there every step of the way for us.  Now we have a beautiful new dock and great new seawall that should last for a very very long time.  Danny was not only professional and on top of everything, but he always responded immediately to me no matter what I needed or wanted to know. He was always patient and thoughtful of our neighbors too, which was very important to us.  He really is a joy to work with and his foreman Michael and he did an amazing and detail oriented job.  My primary home is  out of state and my husband is a contractor who works on upscale home additions and expensive homes, so I am familiar with premium workmanship. I give Danny at Waterfront Engineering a 5 star rating. He has really been a blessing to work with!!!!!

I can not express how great the team of guys who worked on this project was at all times. They started each day as early as seven in the morning and did not stop until dark. They were very hard workers and did a superb job. We never had any issues with Danny and he was always receptive to our calls. I would definitely hire Waterfront Engineering again for future projects. I will provide pictures soon.

Danny A., owner of Waterfront Engineering, came out to give me a bid on construction of a new 145 ft. residential seawall. My old seawall was bowing out from the bottom, and I was losing soil and grade constantly. Right away Danny came to assess; and was open and honest. He actually encouraged that I obtain third party evaluation from an independent marine engineer to help understand what I needed and that I could use to compare all contractor quotes more accurately.
I required more than just seawall work. I had an existing boat house that was to close to existing wall to allow new wall to built. This had to be factored in , and I also required dock modification on top of this. Many of the other companies bidding, either could not perform this (and I would have to subcontract out or find my own way to fix it before they started), or they did, but their prices were coming in well over estimated budget.
Waterfront Engineering took care of all of this. Danny not only was able to take on the entire project, but he came in very compettive with pricing. No subcontracting (except for 1 small roofing shingle replacement on my boat house). And they got this done for me with ease.
There was a little delay in project start time (but that was mostly on my end). However, once his team started (Michael was foreman) they worked tirelessly. Sometimes staying until 6 pm to finish the work needed for that day. Danny constantly kept in contact with me by cell phone and text, and his team played extremely close attention to detail on all matters. Very impressive! My wife watched the team daily as they were here working very hard, every day, and even coming in on Saturdays to finish. I had several reclaimed water pipes that were broken during this big project, but they were all immediately replaced, no problem.
Any concern that I had, Danny and Michael immediately addressed. The quality of work was amazing. Danny provided me with the thickest, strongest vinyl wall and encapsulated it with a new beautiful extra wide cement cap. Some of my neighbors had their seawalls either partially repaired or replaced, and they were truly amazed at my new wall.
To top it all off, they carefully finished my new dock with Trex Transitions and installed a new lamp post on my dock. Finishing the boat house modifications, dock modifications, and of course the new wall. All of it to my satisfaction.
I highly recommend Waterfront Engineering for any seawall, dock , or boat house project! I would put their work up against anyone's in the Tampa Bay area.

The job was done on time and on budget. It looks great!

From the detailed 2-hour visit to produce a thorough estimate to the last day the workers completed the job, this company was one of the most diligent and professional contractors that not only had I used ever before but that I of which I had even heard! Danny and his crew were unbelievable workers! They may have taken all of 20-30 minutes total break time at lunch and that was it! I have never used a contractor so responsible, professional and genuinely dedicated to a project that was no less than perfect! I can't recommend this company higher-they ARE the best! We had estimates from several other companies for our new 90foot sea wall and even initially hired a less expensive one-but a couple of weeks into the and quot;processand quot; we found them to be incompetent and later learned that they weren't confident they would do the best job- they felt they weren't ready for the risk. Then, once I checked Angie's List to find other companies, I found Danny, at Waterfront Engineering who put all the cards on the table at the onset and was not only confident but very reassuring. They were a bit more expensive than some of the estimates ( about in the middle of our quotes) but you get what you pay for and they far surpassed our expectations for this large and expensive project THAT IS PRICELESS!!! Thank you Danny, Eduardo and the guys! You know your stuff and I FULLY recommend them! A++++++

His crew was excellent. Everything was excellent. He looked over the work to make sure it was all going right.

Excellent. We tried to get a seawall build for over a year, we had several people come out and take measurements for a bid, only to have to chase them for the actual bid. Danny was the first person to suggest we get an engineer to draw up plans because we had a difficult job and that way everyone was bidding on the same specifications. Danny's bid was not the low one but we had the most confidence in his ability to do the job right. Right from the start of the job, Danny's work was fantastic. He checked on the job daily and anytime we had questions he was here on the spot to set things right. If you want quality work from an honest person call Danny at Waterfront Engineering. My wife and I are picky and he exceeded our expectations.
