Warranty Companies - Non-Home
I purchased a polaroid tv with an extended 2 year warranty plan. The television broke within the warranty period and I called the Walmart Product Care Plan on May 12, and they gave me a claim number and the store (TB Electronics) that was going to fix the television. I didn't hear anything for a few days so I called TB Electronics and they said that they had ordered the part - even though they never came out to look at the TV. It is now July 15th and after numerous calls they can't find the part and the Walmart Product Care Plan has been extremely unresponsive to my repeated complaints. The TV is less than 2 years old, covered by warranty and they still cannot help get this problem resolved. I believe if they cannot find the part, and it has been a reasonable amount of time, they need to give me a refund or replace the TV. The cost above is for the warranty plan and the tv. The warranty was $59.
