The service went well. The installation was free. One technician came out and completed the job in about 2 hours. He did a very thorough job. He was pleasant to work with and knowledgeable. Their services have gone well so far. I had no problem scheduling them out.

We have had them for 8 to 10 years. The service seems to be fine. I seem to get better service than some of my friends with other companies. They don't even get service at my house which is in Falmouth. I think the area covered is great. I can get it at my cabin in Poland. It's excellent service. The people in the stores are helpful for the most part. I can't complain about Verizon.

Their pricing is pretty good and I pay their bills online. They charge me extra for DVRs, HD and for additional boxes in other rooms. I can only record two shows at one time with their DVR and if I try and watch a different channel then it won't let me record anything on the DVR which I was not too happy about. Sometimes while I watch shows the program kind of freezes and the sound goes of which cause me to miss a part of it which is not good. If they cannot answer any of my questions when I call them they tell me that they will transfer my call to another representative but it does not get transferred and gets hung up. I would not use them again in the future.

The cellular phone service is great and we did not have any problem with our lines. With the land line, we had occasional problems with our voice mail but everything else is great. I think the internet provision is kind of slow. But over all, they are doing a great job.

They are hard to get a hold off or get a response from unless I won't pay the money. I think they are punctual when they come out. I'm kind of stuck with using them. I want Fios so if I want Fios, I have to have Verizon.

Their service is okay, but they still need to do something in my house. They are not very good about getting back to me. They are problematic in that area. The service itself what they did do is good, but they are not good about follow-up. What they had charged for their last service seems reasonable. The quality of work so far is good. I would definitely use their services in the future.

I use them for all the services because they are just easier to deal with. Their service is good, but I can never understand their bill. I spend at least $200 on them every month. I just give up when it comes to their billing. Every time I open my bill, I am frustrated because I have no idea why they charge me so much money. One month they would charge me $600 and the next month, it would be $150. They come up with discounts I did not even I was entitled to. I am old to argue with them now. Utility companies can drive you crazy when you talk to their service people, especially if it has anything to do with internet. Technically, they are okay, but their billing is hugely disappointing. Even if you have passed out from the best university, you will not be able to understand their billing. Their quality is fine. Their responsiveness is not very good. Everything they do is on the phone. They do not want me to go to their office. They transfer your calls. They have a lousy customer service, which keeps a track of your phone number. They waste my time; it is very frustrating. I get really upset with them. Some of the people on phone are good, while others are not. It is difficult to get to them as they have the automated system. When I do get to speak with them, they try to be as nice and polite as possible. It is the process of getting to them that is difficult. It is not fun, especially for old people. I will continue to use them in the future, though.

Verizon put my mother's bill on a cash-only status (money order or cashiers check) because, awhile ago, she was a victim of identity theft. She had to change all of her account numbers. She called Verizon in May to tell them about the situation, and wrote a check for payment of her cellular service, which they cashed. Then, with the next payment, Verizon returned her check, saying they could not accept it. They had changed her account to cash-only status without making her aware. I contacted Verizon in July to talk to them about the cash-only status. They told me it had been changed from cash-only and she was able to pay by check again; however, the latest check she mailed them for payment was returned to her with a message that they could not accept her check because her account status was set to cash-only. Now she runs the risk of incurring late fees on the bill. I have been on the phone with Verizon for 2 1/2 hours today, trying to resolve this problem. I have been transferred to multiple departments and the line has been disconnected three times, causing me to have to call back and start the holding process all over again. Finally, when I was able to reach someone, I cancelled the service today.

I lost phone service and called them. They tested the lines and determined that the problem was in my house. It was over the Thanksgiving weekend and it took them almost a week to come out and fix it. They didn't charge anything because I pay an extra six dollars a month for interior wiring. It turned out the problem wasn't in my house. One of their lines was on the wrong property. The repair person did a good job. Getting someone to come out was the problem.

I lost DSL and called the customer service. I got someone in the Philippines. He spent a half hour testing everything and decided the problem was with my computer, so he transferred me to someone else who helped me try and see what was wrong with my computer. I thought it was above and beyond the scope of what they were supposed to do to repair the DSL problem. I was really impressed with that.
