Wayne is very professional. He arrived on time. Was very efficient. And this company does more than the others. Others just clean the dryer vent exhaust. Ventsmart also cleans that area IN your dryer under the lint trap that you cannot get to without special tools. He cleans the vent stack from the inside AND outside. I will definitely use them every year going forward.

I left a message to request service on a Friday evening and promptly received a callback the next morning from Wayne to set up an appointment for service. Our Technician, Chris, was scheduled for Monday at 9:30am. Chris arrived on time and was personable, professional & efficient and had our Dryer Vent cleaned out in a flash! Chris found that roofers had placed screen in vent on roof which was causing clog. He removed the screen and brushed and vacuumed the vent line, completely fixing the problem. I definitely would recommend this company for vent cleaning.

He also fixed a fire hazard we were not aware of. And he was able to get us about 8 sq ft of additional space in our crowded laundry room! All the work was done efficiently, clean and neat. Chris was awesome. Performed a thorough and professional assessment and cleaning of our dryer vent system. He was on time and wasted no time in getting to work and completing the job, including climbing onto the roof to check the vent exhaust and flapper. Left his work area even cleaner than he found it. Chris showed up on time, cleaned my dryer vent and installed a new metal hose as the previous owners of my house had duct taped in a plastic hose. Chris gave great suggestions on how we could make our laundry room an even safer place to avoid fire. He did great work (and my dog loved him).

I called to schedule and they offered one slot for same day or my choice for next day.  Chris called when he was on his way and arrived punctually within the time slot VentSmart had stated.  He viewed the exterior vent and the dryer inside, explained what he was going to do and it was all done within 30 minutes.  He cleaned the outside vent cover, etc. from up on the roof and did the rest from behind the dryer leaving no mess behind.  Chris also discussed need for annual cleanings, fire hazards and gave me reminder stickers for the laundry room.  He was very personable but also very professional.  Dryer is now working normally.  I will definitely call them again next year.

Chris called ahead and got out here much earlier than scheduled which was great. After completing the job very expediently he gave me a few tips that were common sense things to do and look out for that I had never even really thought about. And, that is why you hire a professional. By the time I finished my "training" I felt as if I had underpaid the company. I strongly recommend them.

Excellent on all points! After reading the Angie's List reviews, I called one company and they never returned my call. Then I called VentSmart and got an appointment the very next day. Making the appointment was easy and I was treated with great courtesy. I was not sure where the end point of the vent was since I couldn't find it on the exterior wall and I figured it was on the roof or somewhere worse. Technician Chris called and told me he was on the way - well within the appointment window I was given. Chris went to work immediately and very quickly found the blockage on the roof vent. He then completely cleaned out the vent and the dryer. In addition, my existing vent was old foil and I knew it needed replacing. Happily, Chris had a new metal vent in his truck and installed it on the back of the dryer. He gave me a reminder sticker for next year's cleaning - a GREAT idea - and I put it on the dryer. A quick and easy appointment during which Chris gave me terrific information! I will gladly use them again and look forward to their professionalism and kind assistance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
