Stone and Gravel Service
Elton Alves, the owner of this company, never pulled a permit or looked at a survey of my lot before starting this project. I live on conservation/wetlands, and there are very strict restrictions in Pasco County. Mr. Alves had his workers build the deck as large as possible, even going past my property line towards the wetlands, in order to get the most amount of money out of me. Naive as I was, I assumed that he was a legit contractor that knew the restrictions and pulled a permit. I was wrong. I has cost me many, many thousands of dollars more to have that patio removed and rebuilt to code. When I confronted Mr. Alves about this issue, he told me that there was nothing he could do about it. I then decided to research this shady guy on the internet and lo and behold....there was his mugshot! He is a crook and a scam artist, among other things. Beware!

Stone and Gravel Service
I had an estimate for some stone from a stone company and they said they would email the estimate to me. Apparently a company called USA Pavers went to the stone company and got my information and what stone I wanted to order and picked it up from them. I never ordered any stone or authorized any sale or pickup of stone. The stone company doesn't have any idea how this happened. USA Pavers is currently filing Bankruptcy according to the stone company.
