We can't say enough great things about Rafael and the service we received! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. He was incredibly professional and took the time to thoroughly explain everything in simple terms. Not only did Rafael fix the issue quickly, but he also went above and beyond to ensure our heater was running more efficiently than ever before. What truly impressed us was the attention to detail and care shown throughout the process. He even offered some great tips for maintaining our system to avoid future problems. It's clear that Rafael takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about customers. If you're looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, and trustworthy professional, look no further. I highly recommend Rafael. Thank you for keeping our home warm!

This place is ripping people off they come put to unblock a toilet and charge $2100.00. Then you call to talk to these Managers Mr. John F. Rodriguez, President · Mr. Charlie Carroll, Business Manager · Mr. Stuart John Long, License Holder · Mr. Omar V. Montero, License Holder. And we are being told they won't talk nor will they provide a breakdown of the charges. Taking these people to court and call the news media . Companies like this should not be allowed to run a business. It is stomach turning how many bad reviews they have.

Zero stars were not an option. I was literally charged $625 for a guy to solder a cap on…that leaked. I had already removed the drywall. I was told i would have to replace all of the copper pipes because they could not be soldered. I called Sewell Plumbing and they soldered a new elbow on in 45 mins. Charged me another $185 but fixed the leak. I reached out to Three Brothers…with no response. Avoid this company!!!!

Third Generation A/C Plumbing & Mechanical sent a plumber who was knowledgeable, friendly, and on time. The service for a shower faucet issue was timely, he accurately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it surprisingly quickly. His knowledge and ability to explain the situation and correct this issue was amazing!

It has gone horribly. I paid $1200 for a repair and they told me they can not find out when the parts are coming or when they can do the repair. Furthermore they said I should be thankful that the next couple days will be cool. They said it could be 3 days or 3 months and that I should just wait til I hear from them. No ability to find out if someone else can do it faster. I said well the next couple days are cool but my husband and son have asthma and she said she can not help.

We have a home warranty through American Home shield. Our hot water heater went out. The water started not being as hot as usual, then within a week it turned completely to cold. Got an appointment with Third Generation Plumbing through AHS. Paid my $100 fee and they sent a plumber out from Third Generation Plumbing. The plumber checked the heater, and wrote on the invoice there was some corrosion because it's 12 years old  and the heating element was bad. I was with him the whole time he was here. (Never a mention of a power surge). He said he would recommend a replacement water heater be installed. Great, right. But instead the company sent a report to AHS that there was a power surge. Which just so happens, I'SNT COVERED BY WARRANTY. It appears we have a scam going on. Tell the customer one thing and AHS something totally different. My wife called Third Generation and asked for a copy of what they sent to AHS. She was told that they didn't have time and refused to send a copy of what they told AHS. With that she hung up on my wife. We've explained this to AHS, but it seems that they don't care.    Please see the documentation below.  I've included links and photos. So no one can dispute my claims.  [*** Link removed ***] Verified Reviews A few reviews for this pro... 05/23/2022 Joe D. Terrible over phone customer service. TERRIBLE!! This company is a total scam and will try to rip you off! My air conditioner was not working so I called my home warranty company and they sent this company. I have two units - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The tech came out and told me I needed a new compressor. Even though the compressor was covered in my warranty, I was told I would have to pay up front before they even started the repair. Well, come to find out they were not even looking at the right A/C unit. They were trying to scam me into buying a new compressor for an A/C that was working fine! Then they refused to come out and look at the correct unit until I paid the warranty company another $75. They are extremely rude - any good review on them must be a fake. I would not never recommend (trying to) work with this unprofessional, crooked company.

Completely unprofessional and unhelpful from someone who didn’t know how to do his job and wasn’t competent or mature enough to admit his mistake. To make matters so much worse, when the company was called later to explain what the man did the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and responded with snarky comments. Then HUNG UP. Yes that’s right she hung up on the customer. My mom called and was trying to explain the situation and just needed a copy of the report for her insurance because now the sink has to be re-fixed and she was hung up on. This is a terrible business and anyone that treats their customers, or honestly other humans this way should not be hired for any job. Save yourselves the time, money, and trouble.

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. They are a joke and a bunch of crooks. The technician didn't have a clue what he was doing or the patience to wait to see if the problem was solved. We put a claim thru American Home Shield for our AC. They sent this company out to repair the problem....while he fixed the broken Fan motor. The same technician told us we had a compressor issue and needed it to be replaced. After 3 almost 4 days of no AC in this hot summer weather I got tired and called another company and my Dad (who used to be an AC repairman) to get another opinion. Both of which told me the fan motor and the compressor rarely go out at the same time. Mind you we just moved into our newly purchased and inspected home. When our AC was looked at again and we found out the compressor was fine. It was just locked up from the fan motor being broken and the compressor over heated during the process. Instead the technician and this crook of a company wanted us to pay $665.00 for the freon in the new compressor (when they could have drained the old compressor of the perfectly good freon) and for a tube to cover wiring (the tube they were putting on was going to cost $225.00, when you can buy the same tube at home depot for $10.00). Do not let anyone tell you, you have to use this company....run fast and far away! They are crooks and only want money instead of long lasting customers for return business. Mind you when the company called back to see if we wanted to get the repairs completed almost a week later. They didn't want to hear what I had to say and told me she doesn't want to listen to my complaints and hung up on me. Complete JOKE and a bunch of CROOKS!

We just bought a home in Florida and within 2 weeks of living there out AC went out. we called Third Generation and their office staff was very professional and got someone out to our home immediately. We ended up having our system replaced through them because our Evaporator Coil was leaking and dirty beyond cleaning. They also gave us a free year of maintenance for our new unit! We will definitely be using third generation for all of our future AC and Plumbing needs as well as recommend them to all of our neighbors and friends!

I filed the claim thursday around 5pm. I called the office friday around 1pm to see if they could come out before the weekend. The earliest they could come was tuesday morning of the next week. I understand it is their busiest season but it's tough as I had weekly renters so that is why I rated responsiveness as a B. My rental manager handled the onsite visit so this is what she reported to me. Technician PJ called her half an hour before as promised and arrived on time. He was very professional and took time to properly diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a faulty capacitor. He replaced it and the A/C started working properly. He checked over the entire system to make sure there were no other problems. I was worried at first based on some of the ratings but everything went well.

My home warranty company sent this contractor out for a repair. The company set up the appointment, called when the tech was on his way, and the tech arrived promptly. Tech diagnosed problem - relatively simple plumbing fix. He told me he would need to call to verify coverage and that he needed to collect the deductible. He suggested that I make out the check while he called. He then stepped outside to make the call. When he returned from outside, he made sure I understood the repair was covered, then picked up the deductible check, and THEN informed me that the repair could not be completed without creating access. This access carries an "access fee" that the warranty company does NOT cover. This "access fee" is $450! (See picture - access meant removing the garbage disposal and back of cabinet.) Not being one to immediately hand over $450 without question, I started to ask questions while pulling up my Home Warranty coverage on-line. He told me that red flag #1 he was not making it up, red flag #2 he's been doing this for 14 years and the company for over 40 years, and red flag #3 it would be more if he had to access through concrete (I'm still wondering how that justifies the fee???.) He got upset that I refused to sign his paperwork which essentially stated I approved the repair and agreed to the fee. After several attempts at trying to convince me to sign the paper, he took the paper from me, tore off my copy, and demanded I hand him his pen. Then he continued to tell me that the fee is what is required to remove the garbage disposal and back panel of kitchen cabinet to access pipes. When I told him I would verify the information with my warranty company and his district manager (who allegedly sets the fees) before I would approve the work, he left my house - in quite the huff, I might add. He obviously does not care to be questioned. I spoke with my warranty company a short time later. In fact, they do not cover access fees; however, I was told that if I provided access by completing the work for the technician then I wouldn't need to pay it. I called Third Generation and spoke to a young lady who contacted the technician when I suggested creating access myself. His response - relayed by the young lady - was basically a condescending, "Silly woman, you can't remove the garbage disposal, it voids the warranty." I informed the young lady that I am a well-educated woman who has dealt with service companies and technicians through many home repairs, and I will not be condescended to nor will I pay unjustified fees. I asked to speak to the manager who supervises the tech that visited my home and sets these fees. Oddly enough, the district manager was not available to discuss his technician or the fee and 2 days later, he has yet to return my call. I called my home warranty company back, relayed my experience, and they had a second company come out to evaluate the problem. Fortunately, this was done at no further cost. Their technician came into my home, diagnosed and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. I questioned the initial diagnosis of the tech from Third Generation. Without criticizing the previous tech, he said that the suggested repair was ideal, but not necessary in my case. He also said that access fees are sometimes charged, but agreed that this fee seemed exorbitant. I acquired the address of the department that handles contractor complaints for the warranty company and intend on sending that department a detailed letter along with printed reviews from this site and Yelp! I have also shared my experience with the Better Business Bureau. Third Generation obviously does not feel it is compensated well through the home warranty companies and therefore invents fees that can be charged directly to customers - usually without question. After reading several reviews with similar experiences, I'm inclined to believe that my technician was making it up, that he and the company he works for are far from trustworthy, and this practice will continue as long as they contract with home warranty companies.
Response from THIRD GENERATION PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL COMPANY
"Unfortunately, this customer's home warranty company denied coverage for the repairs that needed to be made. Our plumber diagnosed and estimated the repair correctly to replace a "waste arm" which would require much labor, and access thru a cabinet and possibly concrete. It was determined by the plumber that this was the only way to clear the stoppage and not cause any further stoppages in the future. Per our plumber, when he explained the non-covered cost, the customer became upset. We have no knowledge of any phone call conversations she explains in her complaint? Any customer is entitled to a get a second opinion and as many estimates they want of a diagnosis with any other company. Third Generation feels this complaint is unjustified."

Response from THIRD GENERATION PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL COMPANY
"Third Generation Plumbing And Mechanical Co. was contracted by American Home Shield to service a toilet stoppage. We went to the customer's home 3 times (2/9/17, 2/10/17, and 2/21/17). Each time the technician found baby wipes had been flushed down the toilet, causing it to back up. Because of this, the home warranty denied the customer's claim. The technician noted upon arrival each time of service, the toilet and tub were very old and already had chipped/marred places. Also, the technician cleaned the area each time of service. The technician states that he in no way marred her toilet or tub when doing service as this customer is claiming. When the technician told the customer she probably needed to replace the old toilet and tub, but it would not be covered by her warranty, she became very agitated, screaming at him, and threatened to call the news and report him. Our technician reported this incident to the service manager as soon as he left. We stand by our technician, and we are not responsible for any damages as they were pre-existing upon arrival on the first service call. This customer's claim is unwarranted."

Third generation came out to look at our broken air conditioner, scheduled through our warranty company. The repairman found that the problem was a rusty coil had broken and Freon had leaked out. He told us that the unit appeared to never have been opened since it was new. What Third Generation told the warranty company was completely different; that the coil was damaged to to an acid wash without adequate rinsing. Where this false statement came from I do not know. There has never been an acid wash on this coil. My written report from the service technician states nothing about acid. Upon contacting Third Generation again they stated that it is company policy to never change their diagnosis after they have reported it to the warranty company. Stay away from this company. It appears they want to just collect the service fee than go on to the next job.
Response from THIRD GENERATION PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL COMPANY
"This was a home warranty call under American Home Shield AHS. When a diagnosis is made, a report must be called in to the warranty before any repairs are approved. To avoid conflict, our service technicians don't always discuss all suspicions with the customer if there is a possibility of denial for repairs. All our technicians discuss their diagnosis with our service manager. Diagnosis is logged in our system notes to review with the home warranty. Unfortunately, this customers claim was denied by the warranty when reported. As third generation is only a subcontractor for American Home Shield, we cannot move forward with any repairs if a claim is denied. The customer can always ask for a second opinion from another company from their home warranty. JOHN RODRIGUEZ PRESIDENT"
