+ -1 moreWe did have to call twice because the person who answered the phone the first time asked if he could call us back and then didn't. But with a second phone call, they responded and got our wood delivered the next day. They stacked in for us in our back yard.
Description of Work: Purchasing wood for our fireplace. Price was $150 for a cord of wood, wood is cut into pieces to fit in fireplace.

+ -1 moreJoe answered his phone promptly when I called. He is super nice and did everything he said he could do. I had been going to landscape lots to buy wood by the wheelbarrow, and paying $15-$20 per load. Joe brought a pickup truckload, full and heaped up to my house, unloaded and staced it where I wanted it and charged me $150. Once stacked, it is roughly four and a half feet high by a little over 8 feet wide. He brought only the size cut that would fit my fireplace per my request. I estimate that this is about 12 or 15 wheelbarrows worth, so the price was very good, especially considering it was delivered. I highly recommend Joe and The Woodpile.

THE WOODPILE offers the following services: We deliver 4' x 8' stacks of wood, also called a facecord, to restaurants, delivered and stacked where desired. The large bags we sell at the ACE Hardware, Farmers Market, and Grill and BBQ Stores we sell wholesale, which is roughly 13-16 pieces of wood. These bags are roughly 1.5 cubic feet of wood. Residential deliveries are made by pick up loads and are also stacked in desired areas. Bags of desired wood (Oak, Pecan, Hickory),are also available for delivery.
