The Closet Factory

$7000 worth of closet work and they didn’t show up on the job until 11am for 2 days. When we explained that we had to leave to pick up our daughter from school they were appalled, couldn’t understand why, and even wanted me to leave the tech in my home without anyone available. It wasn’t a mystery that we had to pick our kid up from school and my husband works from home making it even more accessible Sylvia was our sales rep. She basically told us she would be checking in on install day- never happened, the step by step hand crafted custom planning and checking in sounded good in the consultation but didn’t happen then because we couldn’t accommodate “their” schedule because God forbid we actually had a child to pick up, they took the original tech working on our closets (mind you who came alone) we were under the impression this would be a more then 1 person job: and they took him away off our job, I wrote emails and called the company, they didn’t finish the job, then sent a third party gentleman who was local to lakeland God knows where he came from to “finish the job” he drilled inappropriate holes, hardware was falling off and not screwed in properly, he used the wrong size drill and ruined the face of the cabinets, he even left one of the handles with only 1 screw when I went to grab on the cabinet I almost slipped because the handle spun around because it was only 1 screw and no one told us, etc it took multiple visits and INVASIVE visits at that, 2 times this man was in our home past 7pm at night against my request. I just ate the crap to get the job done and had my husband take over because I couldn’t handle the stress it was causing Terrible experience not what we paid for, basically they made excuses that because they are out of Tampa that’s why they showed up to start work at 11am- yeah that’s not acceptable and don’t advertise in polk county if you can’t keep your promises. No one not even one time (Sylvia or Lori) even called after all of this to see if we were satisfied with our product, but they sure ran that credit card without a problem Horrible experience never again! Do not recommend Dropped the ball in every way Stick with your high class Tampa clientele us polk county folks aren’t worth it to you Not worth the price we paid! On time, on budget.

From beginning to end this was an outstanding experience. The designer, Amy Mendez, was professional, well versed in her company's history, capability, product lines, materials and more. Amy is an excellent designer. She gave us design options for a very small and challenging closet space, explained to me in a way I could understand exactly what was possible for maximum space usage, materials and costs. Amy really listened to my needs and addressed them completely. Her use of time was respectful and extremely efficient. She is personable and a perfect representative for the company. The staff at Closet Factory that I spoke with on the phone were equally efficient and personable. The installer was immaculate, orderly, very good at his job and incredibly time efficient. He really did a great job. We ran into a small snag in the installation process which was addressed and remedied in an incredibly short time frame - I was impressed and delighted. I was treated with kid gloves throughout the entire process. Amy, the installer, and the Customer Service Rep went above and beyond in all their interactions with me to make certain I was happy with the end result and the entire experience. I will HIGHLY recommend this company and look forward to working with them again.

Terrible.  I had a salesman come to my house in May of 2014 and a contract for service signed shortly after.  It took over two months to get my appointment for installation and 2 days before the scheduled install date I was contacted and was told that my components had not even been ordered yet and it would be over another month until they could install.  During the course of the installation, components were forgotten, not delivered and the install team had to come back every two to four weeks for months until the job was complete.  I was told I would be receiving a discount for my months of waiting and getting things wrong.  Today, after the project finally being done for a little over a month now, was contacted and told that I had a remaining balance due that they wanted to now collect without any discounts.  I was told that the upgrades I was given for my trouble was actually instead of a discount which I was never told about. I would have done without the extras if I knew I had to still pay full price for this project.  Overall, I took almost seven months to order, install (correctly) and pay for a closet that should have been done in 4 days which I was originally told would happen.  I will say that the finished product came out very nice and I ham happy with it, but the time and communication with the company was terrible and I would not recommend this company to anyone after this experience.

The sales lady was very helpful in helping us arrive at a final design. She drew plans for the construction. We got what we asked for and are very satisfied with their work and professionalism. The installers even installed two under-counter keyboard trays which we had purchased while the furniture was being built.

REMOVED EXISTING SHELVES, RODS, AND BASEBOARDS; SPACKLED; INSTALLED ENTIRE CLOSET SYSTEM--WITHOUT ANY NOISE, MESS, OR DAMAGE. LEFT THE PREMISES ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. A SUPERB JOB ALL AROUND--KUDOS TO INSTALLER NICK.
