"Thank you for your comments. I pulled all the records for the work described above. Our first trip we were called out to clear a stoppage that the person who called in the order stated that their son had flushed a ton of toilet paper and it was backing up into shower. Our plumber arrived and cleared the stoppage running 75 feet of cable from the roof vent, he then checked the toilets, showers and washing machine drains and all where running quickly and clearly. Eight days later we were called again for a stoppage in the shower, our plumber ran cable and cleared the stoppage, he then ran a camera down the drain line and saw what looked like a broken/damage part of the drain around 17 feet and the around 40 feet noticed damage to drain that may have been caused by chemical (Draino or similar product) use. We returned three days later to locate the break and prepare to replace damaged drain. When our plumber put the camera back down the drain he was able to push thru what was originally believed to be roots and pushed it into the City sewer. The pipe was not broken, the foreign object may have been something that was flushed down the toilet and gotten stuck in the drain pipe. Our plumber cleared the stoppage again on he last trip and when the problem wasn't as bad a first thought (broken line, roots etc) he let the customer know and the replacement work was not done. There are many companies out there that would not have said anything and replaced the drain line at a much higher cost. Yes we did come out three times, the first time the stoppage was cleared and everything worked well for 8 days. We cannot control what a customer or someone in their house flushes down a drain. The second visit with a reoccurring problem is when a camera was put down the drain, and what looked like a broken pipe was discovered. The camera is a fiber optic eye on the end of a snake, it can be very tricky to control and it is not something you can make swivel around, it goes straight down the pipe and you are looking at a small screen to determine what you are seeing. When we came back to determine where the pipe was broken, our plumber discovered that what was thought to be broken pipe was some kind of foreign object in the pipe and he was able to push it out into the City sewer there by saving this homeowner the cost of replacing the sewer line. I can appreciate the frustration of this homeowner in having to have 3 appointments for what seems to be the same problem and to her was a simple one, but again we cannot control what is flushed down a drain. Plumbing is not simple, clearing a drain using a snake and pushing it thru drains with turns and connections takes skill and the fact that you cannot see what you are doing it has to be done by feel of the snake makes it even more difficult. When the customer called, she spoke with our Service Manager who after talking with her refunded $145. We both wish this could have been taken care of in one trip which is always our goal. We have an outstanding reputation in the Tampa Bay area and strive to maintain our standing as one of the best plumbing companies in this area."

"Thank you for your feedback, we take each one seriously and Mr. Maurici looks over each and every review. According to our records and the notes made on this address our plumber went to the home, checked out everything, called and gave you the price, you were unhappy with the amount, he called our Supervisor who lowered the price to $1300, you still didn't agree to the work so he left. You called our office to voice your complaint on the price yet you wanted the work done. Our plumber was on his way to another job and our dispatcher offered to turn him around and send him back. You agreed. The cost of the small water heaters is actually higher than the more common 40 & 50 gallon water heaters because of the small demand of the smaller sizes. We do not control the price of the water heaters, the manufacturers set the price. The old water heater was full of sediment and could not be drained, so it had to be removed as is (full of water & sediment) and taken down the stairs since this unit is upstairs. It required 2 people to handle this as we are very careful not to damage either our plumbers or your home. The price was given to you prior to the work being done, you allowed our plumber to leave your house without doing the work, you then changed your mind and asked us to come back to do the work. Our plumber arrived at your location at 9:00 am, diagnosed the problem spoke with you etc and left at 10:12 am, was then on his way to his next call when you called our office and wanted the work done, he was rerouted at 10:35 am to the parts house to pick up the water heater, arrived back at your location at 11:50 am, did the work and was completed at 3:15 pm. He was at your house for a total of 4 1/2 hours and an additional 1 1/4 hours to pick up the water heater, for a total of 5 3/4 hours for your job. You had the option of not doing the job, you allowed our plumber to leave and then decided to call him back to do the job. The decision was all in your hands and you chose to have us do the job. The job is complete and the water heater working, you have a one year warranty on the water. heater and labor. Our company has an excellent reputation not just on Angies List but in Hillsborough County, we stand behind our work, if something is not done correctly Mr. Maurici will make it right. This job was done correctly, you were given a break on the standard price, you declined the work, you then decided to have the work done after we had left, which gave you ample opportunity to call someone else. You made the decision, we feel that the grades given are unfair and unwarranted."
"Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate hearing from our customers. I understand your frustration in regards to receiving a price over the phone, our company policy is that our plumbers need to look at the job prior to pricing so that there are no surprises on either side. I am sorry that a solution was not found to allow us to send out a plumber for you, but I am glad you were able to get the job done and that there were no extra charges from the company you used. We hope that you will give us a call for your next plumbing need. Thank you."
