Description of Work: Terri was hired to help with the renovation in our home. She has an excellent presence at the first two meetings and fell short when she did show up for the remainder appointments. She provided us with designs that looked excellent on paper, however, the final results had major design flaws. The flaws cost us extensively to fix. There was not one thing that she chose or designed that worked out, at best she got things about 50% correct. Her prices were 40% higher than the market advertised and she refused to ever provide us with an original receipt.

 + -1 moreI adore Terri!! She did a fabulous job. At first, we were hesitant to get a decorator because we were worried about the cost, but we are so glad that we found her. She helped us really bring the room together. We always get compliments on it. What makes her different is that she is paid on the commission from selling the furniture pieces, not at an hourly rate. Using her profit off the furniture, she helps coordinate everything else so that every last detail is perfect in the room. However, her prices are not marked up and are lower than the "discounted" prices you'll find online or at local stores. Even afterwards, when we had some issues with our furniture (one of the screws came off on the drawer handle), she had it resolved immediately. I have 4+ other rooms that need furniture, but instead of buying pieces here and there, I have been waiting so that I can have Terri do the rest of my house. I showed her some styles that my husband and I liked, and she was able to put together a look for us that really looks like "us." In addition, she has a way of diffusing conflict. In the past, picking out a dining room table usually caused an immense amount of stress because my husband and I would fight or stress about small details. She's really great at diffusing any conflict and recommending things that she feels would look great, eliminating much conflict between me and my husband. The entire experience was so easy and stress-free. I can't wait for her to do my living room and master bedroom next!!
Description of Work: Terri did everything to furnish our office from scratch. She helped us pick out our furniture, rugs, window treatments, wall color, and random decor to really pull our room together. As a note, the price above included her services, plus everything that she chose to go in the room.
