Tampa Bay Electronic Systems is home to TBES and the Theater Doctor. We have recently partnered to provide the highest level of service to our clients. Our team here brings over 50 years of low-voltage industry experience and our staff is passionate about the products we install. We serve residential and commercial clients throughout the Tampa Bay area. We are a systems based company offering high quality, extremely reliable and user friendly audio/video, home theater, home automation, security systems and more. Many of our system are tied together and controlled by one app offering the true Smart Home and Home Automation lifestyle. Our focus here at Tampa Bay Electronic Systems is our clients and our goal is to be there for you when you need us to help upgrade and maintain your system long after the installation is complete. Jeff was great to work with. We were able to get on his schedule shortly after calling, and he came over to assess our needs and give us pricing. We had gotten another vendor to give us pricing previously and this vendor has said we could not use the components from our previous house in our new house bonus room. Jeff said he could easily use the components we already had--and devised a system using both our components and speakers that we purchased from him. He also proposed the idea of a sound bar for our family room, instead of the very costly wiring of speakers through our difficult attic/ceiling configuration.
When it came time for the installation Jeff and his assistant did a great job in putting everything in. They worked quickly and efficiently, and in probably two or three hours we had everything up and running. Jeff even gave us a discount off of our original invoice, because he did not need all of the equipment that he thought originally he would need.
There are a lot of vendors out there who do home sound systems, but there is only one Theater Doctor. I will definitely call Jeff again when we need to upgrade or change our home AV needs.
FYI--Jeff performed the service over the summer. I have wanted to publish this review for some time, but have just been crazy busy with everything else that goes into the moving into a new home. The delay in my review in no way reflects any less satisfaction with the work he did for us.

The Theater Doctor, Jeff, installed our home surround sound system 8 years ago. Since then, any time we have had a problem Jeff has always called me back promptly and always come quickly to solve the problem. He also replaced our stereo receiver several years ago. He is excellent at trouble shooting issues and is always prompt for a service call. Jeff is very professional and polite.

Case in point. I have a house built in the 70's with cedar roofs. One of my concerns was that someone would act recklessly mounting these speakers and damage a beautiful aspect of the home. Jeff could sense my worries, and immediately addressed this concern on the first day at the house, and did an amazing job with them. He carefully considered my duct work, the age of the house, and even better, he did it right, the first time.
I could go on about Jeff and Joey and Martine and the work that they do, but that would be selling them short. I'll leave you with what I found most impressive about this crew. They listen. It's amazing to find someone who actually hears what you're saying and understands what you're trying to accomplish. He might not be able to answer your questions right away, but Jeff processes your concepts and works towards finding the best solution for you. It's an invaluable quality to have, and that's why I'll use Jeff on any audio visual project I take on.

I had priced everything out as far as hardware and he actually was able to procure equivalent, if not higher, quality equipment and a better price. His installation rates were outstanding given that an extensive amount of work was completed in a relatively short time frame.
I don't write too many reviews, but Theater Doctor by far warrants a kudos and recommendation to anyone in the market for improving their audio/visual experience.
