Easy to get an appointment and they will give you a lift if you need to go somewhere. There very open about options for repairs. They let you know what really needs to be done and what can wait. I would tell friends and family they are fair and honest.

It is extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic; but Ralph and team have always been honest and professional. For example, a couple years ago the clutch berring on my Jeep started to make a little bit of noise. They looked into it and advised that I not replace the clutch at that time, as there was still a lot of life left in the clutch itself. They advised that it would get louder at some point, and just bring it back when it did. I got at least another year out of the clutch, and it finally got more noisy...at which time I just took it in to have the clutch replaced. I was ready to replace the clutch before they made their reccomendation; most auto shops would have taken the money and never looked back. Instead, Ralph was looking out for me.

I have two vehicles that I have been taking to this garage for all automotive repair work for the last six or seven years. I have never had a problem with the work performed. I believe the owner, Mr. Ralph Maritato, is honest and will take good care of your vehicle.

Originally, I located Tampa Automotive from the NPR Car Talk website. After using Ralph Maritato for over a year, I can highly recommend him. Today my check engine light started flashing. I called Ralph, and he had me drive straight in. It ended up being something simpler then he originally feared. By shortly after noon, I was back on the road. Ralph knows I need my car on my job and bends over backwards to work quickly and efficiently. When I need to go to my office, I get delivery and pick up service. On days I have needed to rent a car, he has it arranged with a discount. There have been times I've called about 7:00 am with a cry for help. He can often diagnose on the phone very closely just from the description. He gives an honest estimate for price and time. He has also advised me to start looking for a different car!
