Suburban Propane

They came and they did a good job. The price was really no variation between all the companies and it's a business standard. The guy that came with them and put it in actually knew what he was talking about when I discussed with him the issue that we were having with the other company with the heating unit and went ahead and fixed it. They understand what the issue was whereas the other company takes in enough people that had no clue and they would seal it up and it would leak and they charge us for the fill up and we said we didn't use all that gas overnight so that was one of our biggest issues.

It was very good. They did the job. It looked good. Everything was looking perfect. They called after that to see how it works and they had follow-up. I like the most their professionalism.

After evaluating at least 6 different Bay Area propane providers for our new pool and spa project we selected suburban due to them providing the best overall value and responsiveness. The one site estimate was professionally done and the final work reflected what actual done on install day. While not the least expensive option we fellt most comfortable with them and they were very thorough in answering several rounds of questions. In addition, they were ultra responsive in doing the install within a short turnaround time after we signs the contract. Job well done.

They came out and they help us with our propane fireplace. We bought a house and we have never use the fireplace before so the guys came and set everything out and filled up the tank and we're able to use it after they left.

I think that they are horrible but I have no choice because I have their tanks. They are so dishonest, so sleezy. Both times I have used them they tried overcharging me, anything that could go wrong or be dishonest they pulled. They didn't get a permit even though it is required by the county. They give you all these reasons why they don't. They lie through their teeth. They try ripping you off if you don't pay attention to what they are charging you for and if you don't ask questions they will charge you double what it should be. It's just really awful. I called the manager and he went through the estimate and it was less than half of what they were charging me. On my propane they have finally fixed that, but they have charged me $88 in permits that they have not pulled. They are just horrible. Now that they are charging me the right amount, the price is reasonable.
