Stone Warehouse of Tampa

Incredible selection and comfortable indoor sales floor. And we were assigned a knowledgeable and patient sales associate, Gabriel. He was very helpful in navigating so many choices, made suggestions, and ultimately helped us find the right material for our project. We tried several other facilities and definitely recommend Gabriel and Stone Warehouse.

It went very poorly. We spent many hours over several days selecting the slab of granite we wanted. We found one there and RESERVED it per Stone Warehouse's practice. They were to contact our fabricator and make arrangements for him to pick it up. When we hadn't heard from our fabricator by a few days we phoned him. Stone Warehouse had NOT contacted him as they stated was their practice. They stated that our fabricator must have a problem with his fax machine. This sounded unlikely as if Stone Warehouse sent a fax it would be acknowledged as "Sent" from their end. Fabricator says they use e-mail, not fax machine, so we felt like Stone Warehouse was placing blame onto another. When we got back into contact with Stone Warehouse we learned that they sold the slab we reserved out from under us! So, we were required to make yet another trip to select another slab. We asked for a price concession due to this unscroupulus and unprofessional act. They would not give even ten cents off for our trouble. Further, their attitude was seemingly as if they were doing us a favor by selling a slab. If we hadn't been holding up our fabricator we'd have told Stone Warehouse what to do with their granite.
