Southern Green of Tampa

If you want your lawn to look worst and no call back from management, then hire them! About to file complaints with the state against them. They make inconsistent excuses. Their rep told me someone must of mixed the chemicals wrong and "oil burned" my plants and shrubs. My plants and shrubs now almost look dead, the manager then tells me I don't know why my rep said that, we don't use oils. Was real quick to cancel the service without refund. My grass is now yellow from some fungus and they just keep saying give it some time. Ironically, it all looked 100 times better when I was doing it myself with a spreader and over the counter materials from Home Depot.

They sent a guy out named Roland. He was very patient and answered all my questions. He set me up for a service schedule. He mentioned some one would get a hold of me in two to four weeks. I was happy when they called me to set up my first visit in two weeks. I was given instructions on what to do after they treated the lawn, They come out usually every three months for my lawn and it's been about six months. My lawn is perfect!!!! Just needed a little love. Thanks Roland

Very Dissatisfied!!!!!! A year ago when a salesmen from your company told me they could make my grass look fuller I bought the sales pitch!! A year later my back lawn is DEAD my front looks like crap! I wrote an e-mail with my issues then asked the guy that came to spray what was wrong with my lawn he sail it must have died because I did not water the day after as instructed. NOT I did EVERY time. Finally Roger came out on October 13, 2016 and said it looked like Mosaic Sugar cane Virus where If that was it it was because my lawn company did not clean there equipment and it was spread, I talked to my lawn company and asked if any other of there lawns looked like mine, and he said no and wanted to know what was up with mine! Well your guy Roger took a root to be tested and told me it would take up to 10 days to find out. Well 10 days went by and finally today I called them again and told the representative that Roger had taken a sample of my roots for testing almost a month ago and still has not gotten back to me, she then stated that they do not do any testing of any kind so she did not know what I was talking about. i was perplexed beyond belief. She then said she would have the manager call me back. Roger called me back an hour later letting me know my grass died because of Mosaic Sugar Cane virus, and they normally don't test for customers but they were doing it for me as a COURTESY ???????????? But they can do no more for me???????? So the promise I was mad a year a go was FALSE!!! My back lawn is DEAD ($1,500) to be re-sodded, My front lawn is NOT fuller it looks like CRAP!!!!! Paid Southern over $600 for a year to make my grass look better and now I have to pay triple that! Shame on YOU Southern Green

The lawn always had bug issues and weed issues that were never resolved by treatments (it did not have these issues with the previous company).  It got to the point where a Southern Green salesperson came by my house and asked to speak to me.  He showed me my lawn and showed the bug damage and where it needed treatment - and then asked who my lawn company was.  I told him it was them and showed him the bill, and he apologized and promised someone would come out to remedy it.
The bug damage is still there months later (it got a little better initially, but now I have another dead spot to fix.)  I still have dollar weed all through the back yard that was never controlled.  The back yard also now has thorny weeds in it for some reason.  I even got a letter from my HOA over the bug damage and brown spots - when reporting this to Southern Green, they said theyd place a sign out saying they treated it.
I called today to cancel and explained what happened, and did not receive an apology or attempt to remedy the situation.  I am now looking for a new lawn treatment company.
