Met with Larry, sales, and worked out the requirements for a quote. Tim (owner) called to review the offer and close the deal. Installation was scheduled for about a week later. Installers were friendly and did (what appears) to be a good job installing the panels and controller. I could have gotten them cheaper from another company but the quality of their product appeared a bit better, including the warranty so I felt the extra cost was worth the investment.

Solar Solutions did a fantastic job! From the salesman visit (Larry) to the installation, everything went smoothly. The installers were professional and explained how everything works. We are thrilled with our new solar system and look forward to enjoying our pool more, now that the temperature is "swimmable."

Purchased the deal on Angie's List after shopping around a while. I guess AL won't give out your contact info, only address, so we got a note on our door from Solar Solutions a few days later for us to call them. Spoke on the phone to the owner and verified everything. He or someone else also came out and checked our setup first, again just to verify things before installation. Installation was very smooth. I verified the location and other installation details with the installers before they started and then I left them to it. All plumbing and structural aspects look great. The materials used are top of the line - extremely secure system, with all stainless steel fasteners and quality roofing sealant. We've had several heavy rains since, and I've seen no issues with roof leaks. The system was installed in February, and took our pool from 69 degrees to 88 degrees in a few weeks. The difference is phenomenal. While this was quite an expensive investment, I feel like it was well worth it, as we probably wouldn't be using the pool until June, and even then it would not be nearly as comfortable. Other thoughts: The installation includes a pool cover. You will need to keep this cover on the pool every night at least during the non-summer months. This is kind of a pain, and you will also need to get a pool cover reel (fairly inexpensive online), but definitely needed if you want to get/keep the temperature up. If you have any tree cover on your roof (like me) the panels are a PITA to keep clear of leaves. I spend a lot of time on my roof with a blower, and I still don't think I'm getting all the leaves from underneath these panels. This will trap moisture and may lead to rot, which could eventually lead to a premature roof failure. Time will tell. Our pool pump died about 3 months after the solar panels were installed. This is likely just a coincidence, as it seemed fairly old, but I just wanted to note it here as the increased load of pumping water up to the roof may have hastened it's demise. We replaced it with a compatible Pentair VS pump, so it should work much more efficiently now.

Found the leak and repaired it. Everything went well. Shouldn't leak again, considering the time and effort they put into the repair.

We had panels made by the same company when we moved in to our house but when we had our flat roof repaired we had to take them off. The panels were almost 20 years old and had started to show signs of deterioration (they were past their "life expectancy") so we decided that when they were taken down we would try a year without them versus replacing them. Big mistake! I don't swim unless the water is warm so I was only able to swim a handful of times last year. The process was very easy and we are already enjoying our warm water! These panels are virtually maintenance free and well worth the money- especially when compared with an electric or gas heater. I recommend this company to all of our friends.

Installation went very well. We were scheduled for installation 3 weeks out but an opening occurred and were installed about 1 1/2 weeks early. They arrived on time and were finished in about 3 hours. The install team was very knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

They removed the solar panels and associated hardware from my roof so that it could be re-shingled. They even capped the plumbing system so no debris could get in the system. Everything was stored neatly out of the way on my pool deck until the roofing repair was completed. Then re-installed the solar panels and associated hardware and even modified it slightly so it looked neater and fit and finish had a more professional appearance overall. The staff at Tampa Solar Contracting Inc. were exceptional and friendly on the phone and scheduled the work to fit my schedule.

Tim was great and called the very next day to setup a walk through of our property.  The new solar panels were installed a few days later and everything has been great.
