Will never use them again. Charged over $175 for 10 minutes of work and a $5 capacitor which was under warranty after showing up 1.5 hours after they were scheduled. And they do NOT apply the diagnostic charge to the work performed like they claim. Technician was friendly, but beware their promises and deceit.

A/C went out late afternoon. I was on my way home from work, my wife works from home, and she wanted to know who we could call. I told her we had a service contract with Simpson Air. She called them and immediately received a return call from Technician Robert. Her words were that he was very kind, accommodating and reassuring and would be coming out after finishing the job he was on. By the time I arrived home, he was calling us to let us know he was on his way. Less than 3 hours after the A/C went down, he was at our house assessing the situation. Within an hour, he had everything back up and running. He obviously had a long day, and still had service calls to make in Wesley Chapel and then Sun City (very far from each other, and from here). And yet he could not have been nicer, more enthusiastic and more accommodating and upbeat. What a great asset he is to your company! We first had Simpson Air out here to assess the status of our HVAC System about 6 months ago. We were not happy with our previous company, as they simply tried to sell us a new system for $20K, and we felt as if it still had some life left in it. The Simpson tech then was as nice and pleasant and informative as Robert was, and took pictures and showed us how he knew we could still get more years out of our unit. He didn’t give a sales pitch, but offered to us the Service Agreement where they would always be there for us to keep our existing system going until the day came it truly would outlive its useful life. I’ll be darned if they were not true to their word tonight, 6 months later. Robert said the fix was very straightforward, and that we still had plenty of time to go before we needed to replace it. How about that for honesty, great service, and keeping it real? Gary Simpson - you and your wife run a great company, you are upfront and straightforward, and obviously treat your customers as you would wish to be treated if the roles were reversed. Give Robert some high fives and recognition. Two encounters with you guys now, and two great experiences. We so appreciate your prompt and expert service. Would recommend you to anyone, and in fact, already have recommended you to someone down the street we know who needs some A/C attention. We know that sometime in the future, our system will need to be replaced. And when that day comes, we will clearly have it done by Simpson Air. You know that too. But by being honest and fair and straightforward, you know how to secure loyal customers. Now that’s how you run a business. Great service is worth great recognition, and we would be happy to share our story with anyone who ever wanted to know. Having used several different HVAC companies over the years, we know how much better you are than what we have encountered. Not all were bad - Simpson is simply that much better. Simpson is a quality company that is on the ball. The installers came on time. They ran into problems that required much longer install and didn’t stop working until 9 pm. Only disappointment was estimator missed needed details that cost $900 more but they ate $300 of that. Good company that I will stay with.

Simpson air told us we just needed a new defrost board that cost $200. The technician was able to bypass the board so that we had cool air until the part came in. We were very pleased with their honesty and knowledge. Wonderful company, wonderful people!!

Great, the office staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The tech was also friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and didn't complain that the line was almost blocked, he had to work at it a bit to get it cleared. I will continue to use them!

I was very happy with them. I think that thy are fantastic. They gave us a great price and that included a rebate and a 10 year labor cut warranty cover. It was about $8500 for a top of the line carrier. Their price is very good, they give competitive prices. They are prompt, courteous, on time and give a great price. It took a couple of hours for them to install the system. The workers were great. They cleaned up very well.  I don't think they can work on anything, I think they have done well with everything.

They do an excellent job. They are really good. I have been with them for about seven years. I have a deal with them for an annual maintenance where you pay $100 or $125 and you are entitled to one service call.

We chose them based on the reviews we had read and also we had them come out last year to give us a quote. When he came out, he seemed professional so we gave him a call back. He was called Paul. They replaced the Ac unit but they never touched the ducts at all and I was under the impression that based on their quote, they would also check all the duct work and make sure there were no leaks and make sure that it was thoroughly clean. They never touched any of the ducts and now the air flow doesn't even reach some of the rooms. The first day they came out, They came out like at 9:00 in the morning and they worked hard. It was probably a tighter fit because the AC unit didn't quite fit into the place it was supposed to go so they had to do some work arounds on it. They worked till 8:00 pm that day. I couldn't leave my house at all waiting for them to finish. When they finished, they had to take the door off the hall closet because it didn't fit in there. They told us to go get a different door and they would fit it back on but then they didn't come out for around three and a half weeks. They kept cancelling and rescheduling and all this while we had an AC unit like in the hallway with no door. When they finally came, the door that I'd bought could not fit so they just went back to the original door, made some adjustments and put that on. The air flow is still not right.

Update: Garry Simpson, the owner of the company, contacted me after hearing about the issues. He seemed genuinely concerned about our customer experience. He said Paul is no longer with the company and he wants to correct our airflow. He came out and looked at the house and determined that the airflow issue was a result of previous remodeling work we had done. He offered to correct it for a reasonable amount of $250. He scheduled the guys to come out within a week to caulk around the door they had removed, seal the ducts they could reach, and try to get air back into our Florida room. The guys came out and worked all day from about 8 to 5 but were unsuccessful in getting airflow to the Florida room due to the space limits in the attic. They offered to come back next weekend to try and finish the work, as well as to caulk around the door. Garry also called to follow up and see how things went. I appreciate the follow up and we are looking forward to having a cool Florida room again soon!

It is clear the installation of this system was installed in a professional manner and working properly. The issue that you are still having problems with is an air flow issue that was created during previous work done by another contractor. We agreed to resolve the air flow issue for an additional cost for which you agreed. Due to the very tight attic this is a difficult task and potentially why the prior contractor did not make it right. The other issue is the caulking around the door that we removed to get the air handle in the closet. We are schedule back for this Saturday to complete this job. Thank you again for your patience. And we look forward to completing these final details and to your Florida room cooling as well!"

We called Simpson Air in December '13 to give us an estimate to install a new AC system in our home.  The old 4 ton system was noisy, but the biggest problems were 1) our electric bill was about $400/mo during the previous summer, 2) the house was cool, but always felt clammy to us, and 3) we have a room addition that was always about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house.  We plan to be in the house for many years, so we wanted an efficient unit that would last.  Paul came to our house and was very personable and professional.  We decided on the Carrier Greenspeed system due to its ability to run very efficiently at a low speed versus the on-or-off systems.  Rather than simply quoting us the cost of a 4-ton system, Paul did a thorough load calculation to make sure we were getting the appropriate size - he even measured all the windows in the house.  This evaluation calculated that a 3 ton system would be sufficient.  Paul explained to us that the old system was too big which led to the house cooling too quickly to effectively reduce the humidity level - this explained the clammy feeling.  Paul also recommended that we replace the ductwork to the addition which was originally installed in a way that limited airflow.  Travis and Travis installed the system and replaced ductwork in one day without a hitch.  The bottom line is that our house is much more comfortable and the clammy feeling is gone - including the addition which is now only a degree or two warmer that the rest of the house.  The system is so quiet that you can't tell it is running - from inside or outside.  Best of all, our power bill is down about 40% this summer.  I highly recommend Simpson Air.

I called in the morning needing a repair and they were out the same afternoon. There are a total of 5 AC units throughout the house and they were able to locate the correct unit in a timely fashion and they diagnosed the issue quickly. The seams on the "plenum" were coming apart and they fixed it on the spot and were in and out of the house in under an hour! 
I have used Simpson Air before this and they stand by there repairs, with a warranty on their service. 
LOVE them and I will be a return customer.

I called Simpson Air and had a service call within an hour of the call. 
Air is up and running on this hot, humid day thanks to the AWESOME professional tech who came out..
 this service call happened on the holiday (of course) and I wish I could remember the technician's name (Rich, Rick, Ron?)  but he was awesome, friendly and very informative. He even tried to diagnose the problem over the phone in the event I could do something on my end to avoid a costly holiday service call, his diagnosis was right but I still needed him to come out and vacuum out the drain line and treat it as it was full of gunk and algae.  He gave me advice to maintain the drain during  the year, which is something I now know I can do. He was kind enough to put a drain trap outside to prevent any unwanted creepy crawlers from coming into the house.
Great service. Reasonable price for a holiday call. Professional and kind serviceman.
