Shooters World

Purchased a Ruger 556 for transfer on 09/09/2020. I go to the place 3 days later and ask if they need anything from me paperwork wise, they tell me no. At that point then I leave and wait until they give me a call. Today is 09/18/2020 and they gave me a call. A gentleman from the receiving department calls me and says that my firearm is ready. This was a lie, I asked then if the background check was done and everything, he says one second and then goes back and forth thinking on his own, then says yes you can pick it up today. I get to the store for pick up at that point, they then tell me fill out the paperwork I said I could fill out on 09/12/2020. Then they begin the background check and have me waiting around like I have nothing else to do. I then tell them that I have to talk to another person within 30 minutes and how long this could take. They think tell me oh it can take like 2 days or something. After telling me before to just walk around the store for a bit. They are giving nothing but misguided answers, and the training is sub-par at this point. Anyone willing to waste another person time, is not worthy of a person time. I would that this finds their store well and that they correct their processes. I am a business man and work hard for my money and treat others as I want to be treated. This is frustrating to the point, I decided to write a review on here for anyone else looking for answers. Shame on them for this and their shame they brought on their company. This process should be much more informed and streamlined. I am an American Citizen and at this point am NOT satisfied with these results. The fact that I still have to get my firearm from them does not make me happy at all, being the waste of time already given.

Just a quick note about Shooters World. I went into Shooters World to try the range for the first time on May 4th. After shooting I gave the Gunsmith shop 3 of my pistols for a and quot;Quick Cleanand quot;. When I got home I looked at them and noticed they were not cleaned very well. About a week later my wife went into the shop looking for a safe. She was ignored in favor of male customers who came in after... her. I brought both of these areas of dissatisfaction to the Manager Ashton Quinto and a Lead Sales person David West. They both went out of their way to make things right and make us feel truly welcome. I was so impressed with their actions to make up for the prior poor service that I have joined the range with a yearly family membership and purchased several firearms since then.

Because of the actions of these two individuals we are now loyal customers.

They by far are the most friendly and honest firearms dealer I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Wow! Love the layout of this place! The historical displays are excellent.
I estimated the date of our visit because we were there for the Grand Opening and could not remember the exact date. We've been there several times since. We have not joined the range yet, since we are members at another range. We are considering a switch; however the range is very crowded at Shooters World. I'm expecting a long wait if I do use that range, so I'm planning a few more visits to see if there are days when it's not so crowded. I can see why it is so popular---there was a great deal of thought in to putting this place together. It is an excellent range. I love the fact that there is a breakroom adjacent to it for those that are waiting their turn. They really had the family in mind. Purses and jewelry for the ladies that enjoy that stuff.
Our visit was to obtain ammunition and maybe find a cap or T-shirt for my father. We found the ammunition right away. We also did some browsing of the firearms. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great place. Everything was very reasonably priced. Definitely will be a regular customer.

It was a good experience. I went there and they help me find a gun that I'd be most comfortable with. They had 1 available for practice, to use to see if you like it , how it handles and I was able to shoot it and before I bought the gun. They also helped me in registering to purchase the gun and buying the ammunition that I needed. The staff is very professional. They know the different things about the different guns that they have, they all seem to know what they're doing. They are very helpful to females on learning how to shoot a gun and they have specials days for women to come in. You could shoot for free and do a practice range. There are people willing to help them. They have special concealed weapon classes to take just for women.
