SEC Pest & Termite Control

I signed a yearly contract with them almost 6 months ago. Called 2 days ago to say I saw a roach. Apparently I have an infestation. AFTER using their services for 6 months, They didn't notice this or treat my home so this would not happen??? AND they charged me an extra $175 on top of what I pay quarterly! Would never use them again! As soon as my contract is up, I am cancelling service!

Provider showed up on time and gave me a quote for treatment after inspection. I was quoted three hundred and some dollars for three months. After negotiating it was reduced to two hunderd and fifty dollars. I thought that I was paying for monthly treatment. No. One treatment for 3 months. At two hundres and fifty bucks a quarter, that is ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR..!!! I called back for a retreatment because the problem persisted. A quick response and retreated with a different product. Now the problem appears to be cured. In my opinion this was a very expensive service by an Angies List provider. I have contracted with another Angies List provider for a whole year for less money than the 3 month cost that I paid.

I called SEC inspections for a second opinion after another extermination company had told me that I had to treat for subterranean and drywood termites.  The inspector arrived and did a detailed inspection of my home for termites.  They found no evidence of an active infestation and said I didn't need to treat at this time.  It was definitely worth the $75 to get an honest evaluation of termite activity.  They saved me from spending $2,500.00 for a service I didn't need.

Extremely happy with the service.  The guy that came out was really kind and patient and explained a lot of things. We were very comfortable and confident with the representative.  He answered every question we had.  He was very personable.

It was very smooth and fast, very friendly. The lady on the phone said they needed to go into the attic so I cleaned out my garage but apparently they did not need to go up there.

There were no additional fees or troubles with scheduling. When the technician arrived, he completed the work quickly. So far, everything has been good.

I called and scheduled the inspection without any difficulty.  The inspector arrived on time.  The inspector was knowledgeable and completed the inspection in a professional manner. The inspector had a great personality and it was a pleasure working with him.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out alright, but it took me a while to get hold of them. After I got hold of them it worked out good. The actual service part was good. The worst part of it was I bought the certificate and it said they were going to follow up with me. However they never called me . I left a lot of voice mails with them, trying to get hold of them, but could never do it. At one point I was about to cancel it, but called back and someone picked up. Then I was able to get hold of them.

Everyone for the office to the gentleman who treated our house was very professional; the service was prompt and thorough. I would highly recommend this company.

Sprayed for inside pests--very nice young man did a good job.

They did a good job and it went well. Scheduling went well and there were no problems. One technician came out and my husband was there when they did the work.

Needed a wind mitigation inspection for my home insurance to reflect a new roof installed in December.  I called SEC on Monday; set up an appointment for Friday.  The office staff took all the info--what was needed; my email; the email for my insurance agent. They confirmed the appointment by email the day before.  The inspector was on time, courteous, and professional.   When he finished, he went over the entire report with me in detail, going over the specific reasons why my roof qualified or did not qualify for each category of discount.  The inspection was completed on Friday afternoon; I received the emailed report on Saturday afternoon; and confirmed with my agent on Monday that they had the report and had forwarded it to the insurance company. I was very satisfied with SEC and would use them again for any other inspection I might need.

The rep was quick, knowledgeable and professional. Haven't seen an ant since service was performed. Very pleased.

I thought it was fine. He got here early. He did what he was supposed to do which was to spray outside and inside. I didn't have any bugs. I didn't have a lot of bugs before but when I saw the price and saw it was a pest company, I thought well better safe than sorry. So it really did help out. He was early. He was very professional.

Young man was on time and very nice. He sprayed the entire house and left. I still see the little "buggers" and the tech never mentioned it would take numerous trips to control them. My initial cost was after using a coupon I got on Angies List. When I called the company about still having the problem I was told it would take at least two more trips. I can't remember the total cost but it was about another $150 or so. It would have been nice to know in advance that their visit was only the first step! Oh well!
