 + -1 moreI had to have a quality hand-sewn antique fragile rug cleaned and repaired. I brought it here based on the reviews and their experience plus being a long time family owned local business. I was confident they were the right ones to do the work and worth the trip (i live about 45 min away). They did very professional quality work at a great price. I would definitely bring more rugs to them for cleaning and repairs in the future. They answered all my questions over the phone before I brought the rug in. They provided an estimate in a few days after they had a chance to look at it, and it was ready to be picked up in about 10 days. Store had a great selection of rugs to buy, too.

 + -1 moreI was very pleased with the quality of their work. After cleaning, the rug was soft to the touch as a wool rug should be and the black mark was very faint. If you didn't know to look for it, you wouldn't notice it. The work took two weeks which was not a problem for me, but such rugs need special handling to keep their shape and time to dry properly. The cost was less than I expected and I would certainly use this company again.
Description of Work: My wool Chinese oriental rug has been used in a first grade classroom for the past two years. Needless to say it was soiled and in need of cleaning and there was a black mark which looked like marker ink or else tar.
