"This is NOT one of our past clients. We have NEVER worked for this person. I would ask Angies list to speak with this person to find out which company they actually worked with. It was NOT Rossi Construction."
Jason Rossi was punctual when he came to our house for the initial meeting. He explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. I had put off having any work done at my house because of the horror stories I'd heard from other people about contractors and our first meeting made me feel at ease. A few days before the start of my project Jason came back with the project supervisor to go over the job details.
Rossi Construction's employees were very nice and respectful of me and my property. I was very impressed with their professionalism. They made sure to clean each evening before they left, which was important to me. Any concerns I had during the project were addressed right away.
We are extremely pleased with the result and will make sure to call Rossi Construction for our next project.
"We would like to thank [member name removed] for choosing us to remodel her home. She was great to work with during the process. Her bath and kitchen came out great."
"We would like to thank them for the opportunity to help with their project. They were a pleasure to work with."
"Work was completed on August 11, 2014. We were contacted by the client 7 months later to notify us that he had some mold growth on the exterior of the soffits on his house. Our project manager was sent out immediately to look at the issue. It was noted as evidenced by pictures that the mold is surface growth. The growing of mold on an exterior of a house after 7 months CANNOT be attributed to work installation. Exterior conditions at the house are beyond any reasonable control of Rossi Construction. Mold Growth is NOT a warranty related defect of product installation by our company. Mold growth on the exterior of any home should be routinely removed by the owner. Rossi Construction has already under good faith gone above and beyond to offer a remedy to the issue. This is not required by us nor an obligation by us. It was offered to appease a problematic past client in an effort to be done with any and all dealings with this person. The clients tell a half sided story to portray our organization in a bad light. Every effort has been made to leave them with a positive situation. Unfortunately they can’t be satisfied. Rossi Construction has dealt with Bounced Checks and unfavorable conversations and critics throughout the course of our dealings."
I was recommended Rossi from a friend that used them for their own bathroom remodel and they gave great reviews. I got a few estimates and they were middle of the road. I chose them in the end because of the recommendation. Ben was the sales person that came out and the first impression. He did not appear to be very engaged and interested in selling his product but I knew he would not be the one doing the work. So because of the great referral I chose them. I told him we wanted to have the work done while we were on vacation. He was very agreeable and positive they could have it almost complete by the time we returned. We left on the 20th. Aug. They said they would start the following Tuesday but didn't begin until Wednesday. Not only did they start later than promised they forgot to have us sign commencement paperwork (could be the wrong term) but they had to get that pushed through after starting late. When we returned, the 31st of August the plumbing wasn't inspected because there was an issue with the plumbing---nothing Rossi did, its an old house. Because I work from home and that is our only bathroom it was important to have the majority of the work done. I understand that an estimated time of completion is just that, but the countertop, although picked out was not cut and ready for installation until mid September. NOW GEORGE AND IAN THAT ACTUALLY DID THE WORK--PHENOMINAL!!! They were courteous, communicative clean, courteous. And WOW the bathroom looks great!!!!!! The work was top notch. So the end result was awesome. Ben seemed disengaged. George and Ian--especially George--very personable, knowledgeable, and ethical saved the review by giving them a B. Thank you George. Rossi, George is great for your company.
*** I WILL ADD THAT THE TILE WAS A SPECIAL ORDER THAT DOUBLE NEEDED AT LEAST WAS ORDERED. I CANNOT RETURN THAT TILE AND I QUESTION THE HEAVILY WHY THEY OVER ORDERED BY DOUBLE OF WHAT WE NEEDED. HAD I NOT NOTICED THE EXTRA TILE THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT TILE. I question that but cannot prove that was intentional. I will in the future pay closer attention to that detail in future home improvements. I am not certain I would refer them or use them in the future.
"We would like to thank [Member name removed] for his work and his opportunity. [Member name removed] had a requested upon signing the work that we meet a specific start date due to his being out of town. He was told at that time that it is extremely difficult for us to confirm an exact date more than 6 weeks in the future. Excess tile was order due to the fact the product was being discontinued. Wed value his opinion and appreciate the trust he had provided to us."
"We would like to thank [member name removed] for the opportunity. She was a pleasure to work with and her bathroom project came out great."
"We would like to thank the (member name) for the opportunity to remodel their master bathroom. They were a pleasure to work with. We were privileged to be allowed to design such an amazing bathroom. Jason Rossi"
During the project...His guys broke one price of a big expensive chandelier and since we couldn't find the same one he cut a check for a $1000 to replace. He did work hard to find the same one since my wife loved it but they stopped making it so we were out of luck. It was an honest mistake how it was broken and they took responsibility and you cant ask for much more than that.
I am a perfectionist and notice every little thing and his team was on it. His lead guy was sometimes late or no shows some days over the 8-10 weeks that it took but I didn't want to call Jason as it got done and his guys were doing good work. His lead guy is a perfectionist (outside of punctuality and only a few times). They put up plastic everywhere to keep dust contained, very meticulous with trim work and paint. They were probably juggling multiple jobs which is why they were late or no-show some days but I was willing to deal with it since they were so respectful of my house during such a big project in the middle of my atrium. We have small children and they cleaned up every day to ensure everyone was safe.
Jason never came by to see the work which was fine since his guys were competent. However, he was very available if I needed him or if I had questions. In the construction industry it is hard to find such competence and business acumen. If I were him, I would have came around bit more often as they did really nice work and he had much to be proud of. However, he set the expectation up front that his lead guy would be the project manger and that was fine with me. He surrounds himself with smart people who do good work so he can depend on them to perform.
I will call him first for my next project of adding another addition or anything i need done. He wasn't the most inexpensive but the price was fair and was worth paying to deal with a professional. I highly recommend Rossi.
"I would like to thank(Member name removed)for the business and his trust. He is a very honest person to work with and his project was one that we can be proud of. Jason Rossi"
"We would like to thank [Removed Member Name] for his trust and business. We are satisfied to know that we have helped him solve a serious problem with his home."
"[removed member name] has trusted us with an extensive remodel to her home. We thank her for the work and her trust. She has been great to work with. We look forward to providing her with a great home she can enjoy for years to come. Jason Rossi"
"(Member name removed), thank you for the nice remarks. I hope your enjoying your new home in a sunny climate. Working with you has been a pleasure."
Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced.
"We would like to thank [removed member name] for the trust and work. We were glad we could help resolve her issues."
Each day they cleaned up after the work they did, they respected my carpet, wood floors etc. by covering them with drop cloths and taking out the garbage each day. They made the construction which can be a real mess, easier to live in by their respect. They also included me in decisions when things came up, so that I felt they were making this remodel personal and I would be happy. Truly they are the hardest workers I have ever seen. They don't waste a minute....continually working. They made me love my home again.
I am so proud to have people over to my home now because it is so beautiful....Thank you Jason and crew.
I am very satisfied with their service and so glad that I chose them.
My next project will be remodel of my kitchen and Rossi will be the contractor that I call first.
"Thank you very much [member name removed]. You were great to work with. We hope you enjoy your new project for years to come. Jason Rossi"
The quality of the remodeling is great. The employees are punctual, very
professional and very respectful. They work with you and your
availability. I recommend that you make decisions early regarding your
choices of tile and design, mirrors etc. While Jason the owner and Wes
the project manager were a great help, I was not very proactive in
making choices. Overall, I've had compliments from others regarding the
bathrooms and the quality of the work.
In any remodeling projects, things go wrong and there were delays because of defective
cabinetry and the shower frame not arriving on time which is not in the
control of the contractor but they kept you informed.
The employees cleaned up everyday after finishing. I do recommend making sure
that the bathrooms are partitioned off well with plastic covering to
reduce the dust to other parts of the house. This worked well the second time around.
I bought all of the faucets and I recommend that you read reviews before buying
these especially for shower faucets. Despite me buying some complicated
shower faucets, Wes was able to fix them so these are solid
professionals when it comes to remodeling.
Overall, I would strongly recommend them for the quality of their work.
"I would like to thank Lynn for the trust and the work! She was great to work with and we are very proud of the outcome. Jason Rossi"
"We would like to thank the Member for their trust. The project and process was a pleasure. They were great to work with and the kitchen turned out great. Thanks for your business and trust! Jason Rossi"
long they have been in business and the fact that they were rated on
this site. I interviewed them and two other companies from Angie's and
settled with them based partly on price (they were neither the lowest
nor the highest) but mostly on their flexibility to accomodate basically
everything I was asking for. For instance, other companies I
interviewed wanted me to use "their cabinet guy," or didn't act thrilled
that I selected quartz instead of granite for the counters, or had a
very long construction schedule (one suggested it would take 3 months).
None of these things were problems with Rossi. The project took just
over 5 weeks, and I got precisely what I envisioned. Actually, the
greatest part was the quality of the crew working my project.
Particularly, the project manager / foreman Joe was flat-out the most
knowledgable and experienced at his craft than anyone in any profession I
have ever had do work for me before. I believe Rossi has several
crews, but if you're lucky enough to get Joe assigned to your job you
won't be disappointed. Which brings me to another point in selecting
this company over others. The fact that they have several crews gave me
a great deal of comfort that they have the depth and experience I was
looking for. For the money I spent I wanted to know I was making the
right choice, and I'm glad to report I certainly did. One other company
that gave me a bid asked me whether I wanted to get a permit with the
county for the project. Maybe I'm dense with what might go on in a lot
of other circumstances, but with this kind of money that's just a stupid
thing to suggest. Rossi's integrity, depth, experience, and quality
craftsmanship sets them way apart from the rest. I would highly
recommend them for anything you might be considering.
"We would like to the member for the opportunity and trust that he provided to our organization. We were thrilled to be chosen for the project and extremley happy with the end result. Enjoy your new Kitchen!"
If you want to improve your home and love it again ....hire Jason Rossi, I highly recommend him. '
