Dry Cleaning Service
I've used this cleaner for the past 6 months but I'm done with them and
I'm passing on why. It isn't just one thing. It is many. I react
violently to starch in my laundered shirts, so I have them done without
starch. No problem. They launder shirts for $.99 with dry cleaning.
No problem. Sometimes they want to dry clean a single shirt to give me
the $.99 price, sometimes they will just do all of the shirts (typically
about 10 at a time) and just give me the price. No problem. Lately,
though, things have really gotten bad. Shirts come back with starch.
Shirts come back with broken cuff buttons. Most recently (today), they
announced that even though I brought in a suit to be dry cleaned at the
same time, they wouldn't honor the $.99 laundry price for shirts because
I wanted them with "no starch."
When they broke an entire run
of shirt buttons (5 shirts), they said they didn't do repairs, but that
their Seminole Heights store did. I drove to Seminole Heights to do the
repairs. That store said "I don't know why she sent you here, we don't
do repairs." I had them call the Riverside Heights store and they
ended up in an argument (in Spanish) about sending me there. Had I not
spoken Spanish, I wouldn't know that the Seminole Heights store actually
DID repairs, but only for its "preferred" customers. Guess I didn't
hit that "preferred" status. I ended up around the corner at a great
little place I found on Angies List on MLK that does repairs. Should
have started with Angies List...
Forget this place. They don't have a clue what customer service or customer loyalty means.
