Rent New Tampa

I am writing this review as a warning to anyone who may be seeking a property management company to avoid at all cost Rent New Tampa. This company is absolutely the worst 'property management company' out there. We had hired this company to both find a renter and provide property management services. Instead we lost thousands as a result of the lies, schemes and tricks. We signed a contract with this company and handed them the keys, after which they did nothing for months. It took over 4 months for this company to find a renter despite a below market rental price. Once they did find a renter the move in date continued to be delayed which was never communicated to us, until after the date that the renters were suppose to move in. Once the renter moved into the property Rent New Tampa promptly collected the rent payment, but did not us any of the money that was due to us. This occurred for almost three months before we request that the renter send us the rent check directly. The company owner (Robert Duncan) then claimed that we were in breach of contract in order to extort hundreds more from us. This company is a fraud. Through their lies, incompetence and deceit we lost thousands. This company is now under 'new management' and has been taken over by a company called 'First in Property Management.' However, any company that is associated with Rent New Tampa or with Robert Duncan in particular can not be trusted.
