Rent-A-Dump

We here at North Rome Lumber have been doing business with Rent-A-Dump for over 15 years and in that time their staff and john the owner have never given us anything but the highest level of service. we are extremely greatful for the business relationship.

I called Rent a Dump on Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning the dump trailer was in my driveway ready to be loaded. Both the owner, John and his delivery driver were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I just purchased an original 1970's home, and will most definitely be using Rent A Dump again with my demo and remodeling projects.

Started calling Dumpster rental companies (four of them) on a Saturday afternoon with the intent of getting phone calls back on Monday. After leaving a message for Rent-A-Dump, within 5 minutes John Hamilton called me back. (Still waiting on those three return calls). Thoroughly explained sizes, prices, length of rental, prohibited items, etc. Was extremely helpful and friendly, thorough too, we spoke for about 15 minutes. At the end of the call, asked that if I didn't rent from him, I call him back just to say why he did not earn my business. Great Customer Service! Knew I was hiring him just from that!

Called him three days before we needed the dumpster, and delivery was set for Thursday 9am. He called me the morning of delivery, and would be ok if he brought the dumpster a little earlier? Sure! Arrived about 8:30, dumpster was almost new, not rusted or an eyesore, painted all black as shown on his website. He personally delivered the dumpster. Friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with! Even extended the length of time if we needed to, but wasn't necessary...

Because of the width of the street and my driveway, he blocked the path of a school bus for a few minutes or so in repositioning the dumpster in the driveway to my liking. After clearing the road for the bus to continue, he bus driver pulled up to him opened the door-YIKES I thought she was upset to have been blocked, but low and behold, she was a recent customer of his also, and wanted to say hi and thank him again for his service!

When the first dumpster was full, called him and within the hour he called me back, was at the yard and was bringing me empty one. Switched them out, again putting the new one in the same position as the old one, which took some time moving them around in rain and lightning...

In the end, if I ever have need of a dumpster again will definitely use them or would recommend this company to anyone. Friendly, professional, clean and well maintained dumpsters, and a pleasure to deal with...

They brought a dumpster trailer over and left it for a week. They were on time and flexible with scheduling. Very friendly and professional.

We had to remove the shingles from our roof and as it turned out we had a double layer on and didn't know it until we were into the job. This was a situation that ended up almost last minute when it came to a trailer or dumpster and the trailer provided was originally for a single layer. Every time we had to call for any reason, he promptly returned it, if not answered right away. We had some difficulties which affected the time frame of the return and John worked with us on not only extending the rental time, but also on the charges. To state that John is understanding is an understatement that does not do enough justice. His professionalism and intense dedication to customer service, he proceeded to bend over backwards to accommodate us, not only with extra days but also with an outrageously fair price! I found out that this company started out with only one trailer some years ago and has definitely grown to a major business. I am sure it is due to the fairness, customer service skills and compassion of the owner, John Hamilton. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend this company as well as use him again ourselves in the future. His company's customer's service and professionalism was cutting edge and should serve as a model for other businesses!
