Re/Max - James W Creutz

I inquired about management for the houses. He asked for the addresses and said he looked at them. We talked about details and verbally agreed on the deal.  He sent contracts, which I signed and returned.  After 2 weeks of dealings in all this, he then decides he will not manage one of the homes due to claims of it being too poor and dangerous.  Previous renter was paying $950/mo; I've been to the neighborhood and it is not that bad.
If the house is below his price range then so be it, but the time to decide this is BEFORE wasting 2 weeks of my life and signing a contract. Totally unprofessional.
He did collect rent on other house and says he will mail the check without %10 manager fee (which I of course view as totally appropriate anyway), so I suppose that is something.
Not sure what it is with FL (Tampa?) managers, but this is the 3rd one I've gone through and they are all horrible.  I have 3 other properties in other areas of the country and no problems with those managers whatsoever.
