Redman Fence

Terry was great from beginning to end. He has a “doggie design center” where you bring your pooches and he measures the correct spacing between posts so the smallest head won’t get stuck. He put together a package for me to submit to my HOA and endured all their questions. I recommend him highly!

This company is awesome. My backyard is approximately little more than half an acre. We installed a chain link fence in 1990, shortly after we built our home. My husband had installed a privacy fence in the front on the south side around 15 years ago. All this fencing was rusted, large swaths missing, boards missing from the privacy fence portion, 30 years of trees and other large plants swallowing up portions of the chain link. It looked HORRIBLE and I wanted something that looked good and would last at least another 30 years. After checking reviews on Angie's List, I received several quotes, including Redman Fence. The reviews they received were the main reason I went with them, but Mr. Redman really won my approval with his presentation of their product and the praise he gave his crew. I was not disappointed. After visiting his showroom in Tampa, I signed the contract and waited with increasing excitement. My fence was custom-ordered for my property from a local vendor, Alumi-Guard in Brooksville, so it is American-made, another great selling point for me. Mr. Redman explained that they like to make sure the top of the fence is as level as possible, so they do adjustments at the bottom in order to give that effect. It was also important to me that any dogs that I might have in the future wouldn't be able to dig out under the fence. The crew foreman came out the next day to walk the fence with me and assess the job. I chose black aluminum Canterbury rail with a 10' double gate on the north side and a 4' walk-in gate on the south side. Both have arched tops and are lockable. He suggested I go with a 54" fence instead of 48" due to how it would look on a property of this size. The cost for that upgrade was minimal, so I agreed. After a couple of weeks, the fence product was ready for installation. On April 19, when I got home from work, the crew was in my backyard hard at work. I met each one and saw them every single day from then until the job was done a week later. I've seldom seen such a work ethic. And I should point out that April 19 was Good Friday. Even though I discouraged it, they still came out every day (including Easter Sunday). These people did some extremely difficult work in clearing out the overgrowth of trees and vegetation, then hauling it all away along with the old fencing. They even moved dirt around to level out certain areas - like where an abandoned gopher turtle mansion had elevated the front corner. That alone was so impressive. I didn't recognize my backyard in the far corners! The foreman asked my opinion on different things along the way, which I deeply appreciated. For instance, my neighbor and I apparently shared a nice oak tree that slightly straddled the property line. The foreman offered to build the fence around it, but I opted to cede the small amount of property in order to have the fence continue in a straight line. The end result looked better than anticipated! I cannot give this company enough praise. Mr. Redman was correct in extolling the experience and work of his crew. Again, this company is awesome!! And my new fence is absolutely beautiful!!!

Tim, Dave, and Tommy did a wonderful job removing our old fence and replacing it with a much higher quality fence. They were friendly, cooperative, polite, and hard working. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend this company.

I received quotes from a number of vendors to replace an entire privacy fence for one of my rental properties in a nice neighborhood. Homeowners Association wanted me to replace the fence. The quote I received from Redman Fence was actually higher than most, but I was persuaded that the higher quality of the Redman fence would be worth it. Totally glad I chose Redman to install the new fence, it was worth it. The new fence looks fantastic, and I'm convinced it has added to the value of the house. As for the quality of the installation, it actually turned out to be better than promised. And, they can help with financing! 1000% glad I went with Redman Fence Co.

Extremely well. The workers arrived on time-always professionals and answered all my questions. The work seems like quality to me. We've used Redman for a shorted fence in backyard and are happy with it after 3 years.

It went very well. The workers arrived on time, worked hard all day, cleaned up nicely. We are happy with the fence and feel the price was reasonable for the work done. This is the second time we've used Redman Fence. They replaced a shorter back yard fence a few years ago, and it still looks good.

The quality of service provided by Redman fence was amazing. Johnny 50 was our installer. We sincerely appreciated his level of expertise and detail. He took the time to leave the job and drive back to the shop to pick up 12 screws to finish our job. That is what we call above & beyond. Excellent company. I was impressed that Terry Redman met with me to go over the options of a new fence for our back and side yard. His ideas were exactly what I wanted. It was fun watching the crew, Tim, Chris and Dave build my fence - they were professional, polite and their work was superb! I would highly recommend anyone to purchase their fence from Redman Fencing and forget about the Big Box stores.

Excellent! Most professional contractor I have ever worked with! Mr. Redman is a perfectionist and came out several times to make sure everything was done right. Have had numerous compliments on this fence which was custom made to ensure my small dogs could not get through it. Fence is completely level, even though my property is not. Expensive but worth every penny. Contractor next door was grading in a rain storm their machinery fell over and landed on my new fence. Didn't even leave a scratch. Totally amazed! Great product, fabulous professional company!

It took several weeks to cut and prep the materials, but when they gave us a date to begin, Dan and Johnny showed up, took down the old fence, and built the new fence over the course of three days. They took their time, cut on site, used no pre-assembled fencing, performed an excellent clean up, and kept my wife and I informed the entire time. It was entirely worth the wait and cost. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the new fence and would highly recommend budgeting for the investment of a new fence with this company.

After initial visit to estimate costs, and visiting the show room, I decided to use Redman and gave $400 deposit to get started . 2 weeks later I reached out to see what the schedule for me was and they said they would come out the next Saturday to do final measurement for order of materials. No one showed. I called and called, and approximately 2-3 weeks later someone called and said they still do not have me on the schedule. I asked for my $400 deposit back and they refunded me. Poor communicators and poor follow up. Prices are above average.

Fabulous! I have had Redman Fence install 2 new fences and was very pleased with their craftsmanship, professionalism and price for quality. When I found out they could build out my pergola design I didn't hesitate to hire. Tim, a master woodworker said he's been working with owner Terry for 20+ years. Tim cut pressure-treated lumber based on my design specs and pre-assembled in his wood shop to ensure accuracy. Tim and 2 assistants erected the pergola in a single day. Looks beautiful. Very sturdy. Exactly to specs. No mistakes. Highly recommended for any outdoor wood structure.

Fabulous! Redman Fence installed fence 2 years ago which was severely damaged during pool construction. They pulled out all posts and replaced fence with all new material. Installer Rob was same person who put in first fence. He's very proud of his attention to detail. New fence is identical to height and placement of first and a portion also has a new gate which needed to be critically placed so puppy can't escape. Enjoyed working with this company. Highly recommended.

A+ I couldn't have a asked for a better company and crew with a better made product in my dreams. This goal of mine, to fence in my front yard, has been on going for over two years. I finally found the right company for much needed peace of mind for my pets on a busy street through my neighborhood. The fence itself was made by Alumi-Guard just up the street in Brooksville. Their product quality is also outstanding. The compliments keep rolling in and the fence has actually helped slow traffic for now because people are slowing down to look at the fantastic workmanship. Quality of fencing was excellent. Responsiveness to returning calls was less than optimal. Installation of gates may need some alteration in fit once the fence has adapted to environmental factors like settling and moisture. Overall, this company is professional and ethical, and I would call them for further fencing needs.

I have absolutely no complaints about the workmanship and the professionalism we experienced in getting this job completed. We were not home for the majority of the project, but I did meet with Jim upon completion who wanted to make sure we were satisfied. He was very personable and knowledgeable, but mostly I appreciated that he wanted to ensure we were happy with the outcome. This a very well run company who has carefully chosen a team of installers with a great work ethic.

They were excellent all around. The price was a little high.

Terry Redman, helped us navigate our way through all the options, he has a lovely showroom. We felt comfortable paying a bit more for the fences as the craftsmanship is really excellent. Our fence replacement was a much smaller job, spanning both side gardens from our house to the neighbors on each side, with gates, some companies wouldn't do it, preferring only large contracts, Terry accepted us. His guys, Dave and Chris showed up and were punctual, meticulous and thorough. They worked hard straight through the day and were finished the following afternoon. Even with a small slope on the lawn, they managed to install a solid, strong shadowbox fence, with double top trim. Four ft. arched gates with double barrel bolt systems. Which will last for decades. Dave and Chris were very conscientious, friendly and polite. They cleaned up the whole area on departure. These fences look so good, they have maximized our "kerb appeal" and increased the value of our property. An outstanding job, we are getting a lot of compliments from all our neighbors.

Excellent! Four men arrived. They were very clean cut, polite and worked very hard to complete this job in just two days! They did a fantastic job. The quality of workmanship I've not seen anywhere else in a fence! I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so!
