Description of Work: The changed a battery in my alarm system and took back a battery they sent me in error thereby crediting my account for the wrong battery. I believe my alarm system is almost infallible now that they made a modification allowing me as a handicapped person to use it effectively. They do have people who know what they are doing and know how to get the job done. Unfortunately it took them three attempts with less qualified people before they finally got it right with the right technician. I must give this company credit for not giving up on my system and me. It proves they are wonderfully dedicated to doing their job right... THANKS PRO-1, Guy Giordano

I used them for my old house, as well. The costs have gone up. I can't hear the alarm in the back of the house. I'm going to have to pay another $160 to have another thing installed in the back of the house. I don't like the fact that I'll have to add another alarm. They put the alarm in a closet in the very front of the house. If the door's closed in my bedroom, I can't hear the alarm. If the TV's on and I'm in the shower, I definitely can't hear it. I had very good service from them at the other house. I used to pay $30 a month at the other house, and I had two keypads. Here, I have one keypad, and I pay $40.

THE NUMBER I PROVIDED IS FOR TODD ALTIERI WITH PROTECTION ONE - NOT THE MAIN NUMBER TO THE BUSINESS. IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE THAT YOU GET HIM AS A SALESMAN, YOU HAVE TO CALL HIS CELL NUMBER.
Description of Work: I SIGNED A 3-YR HOUSE ALARM AGREEMENT WITH THIS COMPANY. I 'CONVERTED' MY POLICY FROM ADT TO PROTECTION ONE. THE $100 WAS THE RESULT OF PURCHASING CELLULAR BACKUP EQUIPMENT FOR MY EXISTING ALARM... OTHER THAN THAT, THE CONVERSION WOULD HAVE BEEN ZERO. TODD - MY SALESMAN - WAS GREAT. HE IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEGABLE ABOUT SECURITY SYSTEMS (AS HE INSTALLED THEM FOR YEARS), POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND PUNCTUAL. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND LITERALLY MADE IT EASY. OKAY... NOW THE BEST NEWS - NOT ONLY DID PROTECTION ONE LOWER MY MONTHLY PAYMENT BY $9.00 A MONTH, I NOW HAVE FIRE PROTECTION AND A CELLULAR BACKUP IN THE EVENT THAT MY LAND PHONE LINE GOES OUT (OR IS CUT). BOTH OF THESE SERVICES (FIRE AND CELLULAR BACKUP) WOULD HAVE COST ME EVEN MORE THAN WHAT I WAS ALREADY PAYING WITH ADT. ONE OTHER THING, MY RATE IS LOCKED - UNLIKE ADT WHICH CAN ADJUST EVERY YEAR. I AM VERY, VERY SATISFIED.
