Pool Guard Of Tampa Bay

Pool Guard was very responsive and scheduling was super easy. We had it installed on the exact day we preferred. Luis was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly. Installation was very smooth and it looks great. We would highly recommend Pool Guard to anyone needing a pool fence to protect their children.

I called the company and I wish I remember who I spoke with as she was extremely nice! I She said that all I needed to do was measure the area I wanted covered and they would schedule an appointment for an installer to come out. I asked if I could come see the product at their warehouse and she said of course! Any time your in the area. So I did just that, was satisfied with what I saw and was told about the product so I went home and measured the area and set up an appointment. Jose was the installer and he was very nice, professional, on time and explained things to me as her went along. He cleaned up the area before he left and explained taking down and putting up the fence. I had 53 feet of fence installed and a gate. The gate was $289 and the fencing was $581 plus tax.

This company was amazing. I would highly recommend them to everyone! Prices reasonable showed up on time (actually early) and the installer Luis, was a very nice professional installer, even went above and beyond with service. This is the only pool fence in Tampa Bay you can trust. I had called two other and neither one showed up so it took me over 3 weeks to get this done, I should have just called Pool Guard from the beginning.

I had Pool Guard Tampa Bay install a new safety mesh fence around my pool. I had several companies come out and pool guard was the only company that showed up on time for the appointment. They answered all my questions and were extremely professional. The install went perfectly and I felt their pricing was extremely fair. I highly recommend.

They were fast and clean. Did a great job and price was reasonable. Quality of product was good too. Would recommend them to friends and family....very happy with the service.

The pool fence was installed one year ago.  We had no trouble with it until recently when I went to check the pool after the winter season and found that when I lifted one end out of one of the holes in the pool deck part of the post disintegrated and there was also brown staining. Other posts are also showing the same brown staining.  I sent photos to the company and was informed I can drive myself to Tampa to pick up replacement parts (?!) or PAY THEM A SERVICE CHARGE OF $49 to have them do it.  The parts are covered under a warrantee however I'm not sure why I have to pay them when I feel the parts should not be in this condition after one Florida winter and regular use.

Update: the response from the company on Angie's List is not the response I received when I called on the phone.  Driving to Tampa is not convenient for me, and so I arranged to have the pole replaced when they are available in my area.  I appreciate the follow up. 

This was a great experience.  I called on a Monday and they came the next day for installation.  Luis installed our fence and he did a great job.  He was very nice, very professional and did a great job.  He showed up on time, explained everything thoroughly and cleaned up before he left.  Took less than 2 hours.  I would definitely recommed.

The installer came to the house and showed me where the fence was to be installed.  He was courteous & professional.  He waited while I consulted with my husband as to where to put the gate.  He drilled the holes in the concrete, installed the fence & gate.  Showed me how to remove and reinstall the gate.

Everything from the friendliness on the phone during the quote to the actual installation with Jose was fantastic!  I was quoted in the ballpark of what we actually paid (I under measured) and Jose was in and out in no time.  He walked me through the pool and asked what my wife and I would like the layout of the fence to be and offered his advice as well.  He made sure we were comfortable and answered all of our questions.  The installation was quick and he made sure the deck was clean after he was done.  From there he walked me through every section and showed me the features and how to take the fence out if we needed to.  Overall it was a great experience and we really appreciated the outstanding customer service we received.  Jose went above and beyond what we expected and are very happy with the product!

From start to finish, everything went very well and was priced competitively, so save yourself the time and make one call to these guys, they are good.

Quoting was done over the phone based on our estimated measurements. They had a few color choices and asked how many gates we would want.  They had the install scheduled within three days.  Their installer came out and walked me through the layout, made adjustments so that we could get the most use of our patio.  He used a crayon to mark it so that I could see how it would look before drilling.  He even made a few recommendations that saved us some money.  The install took only a couple hours.  He walked me through the features, how to care for the fencing, the warranty and left plugs behind for when we want to remove it.  Great work.

Phone calls were promptly returned and Cynthia made the experience easy, breezy.  The installer, Jose, came at exactly the scheduled time on install day.  He was very professional, friendly, polite and he explained everything he was going to do, including me in decision making and preferences.  After he left, on closer inspection I noticed some chips in the powder coat on some poles and metal frame.  I made a call and Jose returned to retouch the chips with paint.  We are very happy with the results of the install and are pleased with the way the entire process was handled.  An added note:  All the grandchildren (3 1/2 yr. old, 1 yr. old, almost 3 yr. old, almost 2 yr. old and a 9 yr. old) put the fence to its test on Mother's Day and it was great not to have to worry about them getting near the pool until an adult was ready to be there with them.  Pool Guard did a great job.  Thanks Jose:)

Very well.  The repairman cleaned out the holes that had broken fence in the hole and capped off unneeded holes.  He was well organized and did good work.

I was at work they went to my home installed the pool fence ..came to my job to get paid and was told 1494.25 instead of the 1300.00
quoted.. questioned it (already had check made out) but needed to get back to work so paid thought was done...The holes in my pavers were done so close to the edge on the majority I now have many cracked and broken where the fence is . We never removed the fence because yard is not fenced in yet but my pool service has to open it weekly.. The plastic inserts pull out when you try to open it. I am very ;upset with the broken pavers all of which are from the holes drilled and want them to fix them. I just left another message so hope to hear from them to resolvee this.

UPDATE:   Kevin called immediately and requested a sample picture ..I sent to him  and they set up  for the repairs to be done.
    Jose came today with his helper and made ALL the repairs  looks great and I'm happy. Also I needed the filler caps for the holes
and they left them with me at absolutely no charge.. Thank you for standing behind your products and install.. And yes Kevin

When our pool was installed four years ago, we purchased a safety net from another company, but we found it to be cumbersome and ended up throwing it away.  We planned a New Year's Eve party and knew there would be children coming, so we contacted Kevin at Pool Guard to purchase a new safety net.  He responded immediately and installed our new net in time for our party.
