Therefore, you are subject to the general mover's liability insurance in which claims are paid out at $.60 per lb, per article. We promptly processed your claim, and upon contacting the manufacturer of the couch, reimbursed you according to the level of insurance you were entitled to. Having recently had a bad experience with a local mover, I was a little hesitant to look for another. A quick internet search identified Platinum Relocations. I read the on-line reviews and took a quick look at the website and decided to ask for a quote. Making a long story short, the quote was much lower than I expected and we scheduled the move. Samantha was the coordinator and extremely helpful in getting the move scheduled. Follow-up before the move day was excellent. Justin and Eddy were the team that arrived - a little late, but they called well in advance to advise traffic was bad. These two gentlemen were well dressed, polite, professional and got right to work. All items were wrapped for protection and both of these gentlemen kept me well informed during the entire load and unloading process.
This was a great experience and I would highly recommend Platinum Relocations for your move. Justin and Eddy are a shining example of great customer service and a credit to their organization.
This provider sent out a representative who inspected the items to be shipped from a storage unit in Florida to the new owner's residence in Oklahoma. An estimate was then provided on the move and once the estimate was accepted shipping dates were selected. The mover arrived at the storage unit about 45 minutes late due to confusion on the address but the driver called and the confusion was cleared up quickly. The truck needed to move the items and car was a large tractor trailer and the driver very skillfully backed the truck up to the storage unit avoiding many overhead wires. The driver and his two helpers worked together to inventory, wrap and load the items onto the truck. They were very professional and did an excellent job. Once the storage unit was emptied, they pushed the 1914 model A to a parking area that allowed for easier access. A tow truck was brought in to load the car onto the trailer and the car was secured in the truck. The driver delivered the contents in perfect condition on the day and time specified by the company. I would definitely use this company again! Especially for complicated moves!!
