PIONEER CLEANERS & LAUNDRY

Description of Work: We have been going to Pioneer Cleaners on S MacDill for over 30 years. They always seemed to do a good job and were friendly. We never had brought up an issue with them until this past month. I brought in a gown with sequences to be dry cleaned. It took a long time to get back, and they finally informed us that the gown was ruined during cleaning. They blamed the manufacturer, but the boutique I had bought it from sold other sizes, and no one else had an issue. I got the receipt from the boutique and asked the cleaners to reimburse us for the gown. NOTE....first time we had ever filed a claim with them in 30 years!!!! And, we have always been loyal customers. The manager, Mike told us it would only be a credit and they would reimburse us for $100!!! A fraction of what my expensive gown cost. I kept pursuing them to check with the owner, and Mike (the manager) said he would. He never called back, and every time I called to find out what was going on, Mike was either not in or busy. He never called me back. After 30 years of business, if this is how WE were treated, I can only give them the absolute worst rating. If they called me back to even explain their decision, that would be better. But, they totally ignored the situation and never gave us even that courtesy. We have changed dry cleaners and want everyone to know what type of people own and are in management at Pioneer. Please DO NOT patronize this cleaners.

Description of Work: I have used the cleaners for a long time and never been disappointed in the quality of work or service I receive. I take in several items usually two or three times per month and always know the service will be excellent.
