I can't think how another pool service could do a better job. Zach Tucker and his team keep my pool always sparkling. The price seems fair.

I have been a customer of Phillips Pool Service for almost 15 years. They keep my pool clear and sparkling all the time. Anytime there is a problem with my pool, they alert me and give me a written estimate to correct the issue.

Wanted our 20 year old 15,500 gallon inground concrete pool repaired and refinished after suffering some aging vertical wall cracks and water leaking. Got several quotes. Jason leads the pool repair part of Phillips Pools. He inspected the pool, and provided a very competitive proposal which included all the normal crack repair but also included repairing one section of the beam of the pool that would reduce likelihood of future cracking and separation of the pool from the apron. No other vendor mentioned the need for this repair and most of them quoted higher prices. Their payment terms were almost identical to the other vendors. After Jason answered my due-diligence questions, we scheduled the work. They started as scheduled and completed the work slightly faster than predicted despite some rainy days and our addition of several items (replace cracked skimmer including rebar re-enforcement of surrounding concrete and adding another pool inlet to allow water make up without running hoses across the deck.) They also worked with us to finalize selection of our ideal replacement tile and we added some neat ceramic turtles that were set into the bottom of the pool. Very eye catching. I have run and maintained community pools in my younger days, so I knew everything they told me was excellent advice. Jason was very patient and made sure all our questions were answered throughout the process. He also made sure we knew how to maintain the pool when it was refilled with water. Everyone involved in the repair and refinishing of the pool was excellent to work with. Finally, they strongly encourage credit card payments and make it super easy to pay their bills online. They were easy to work with and Jason definitely knows the pool repair business. Would definitely recommend them to others.

We switched to Phillips when our old company hiked up our monthly price. Phillips pool service keeps our pool clean and sparkling at a reasonable price. They are very communicative and always notify us if there is ever a change to our service day/tech. Since we have been with Phillips, we've had a couple of repairs that were needed. Phillips did the job quickly and for a fair price.

the weekly pool cleaning went well. I was charged a hurricane clean-up fee and I called the owner to question the charge since my husband did the post-hurricane clean-up of the pool. the owner yelled obscenities and racial remarks over the phone for me questioning this charge. I was paying him for the entire month when they did not even come for at least a week due to the hurricane.

Andy Tucker answered the phone himself and made all the arrangements to
assist us to hook up our pool/spa heater with propane.  He was prompt,
resourceful, and followed up exactly when he said he would.  Such a
welcomed experience after trying to work with another pool service who
didn't return calls.  We would use this company again for anything pool
related.

Everything is going well.  They are reliable, do quality work for reasonable prices, and always arrive on time for appointments.  I would definitely recommend them to others.

I called Andy late on Friday afternoon, he had a sevice guy out to work on my pool motor the next morning. When the service guy needed Andy's help to fix a problem, Andy was out within 2 business days to solve the problem. I really appreciated the communication along the way, always thoroughly explained what he was going to do and was true to his estimate.

We use them all the time and they are great.  They keep our pool really nice.  We have had other things to deal with and they have handled those for us.  The owner has been very cooperative and has helped us a lot.   

They're good but I feel like they are expensive. They are very responsive when I call with any issues. They really know what they are doing, they're sharp. They show up and do the work.

Originally, the company seemed better staffed and service was regular, but over time, the service has progressively degraded. At least once every 8 weeks, they would not come to service the pool. Lately, they skipped several weeks, and we ended up with a green unusable pool over the Memorial Day weekend and beyond. Frantic phone calls are never returned, and the one cell contact we had has been disconnected. We have discontinued service with this company, and strongly caution anyone considering them.

I was quite impressed with Andy's prompt, courteous, and honest feed-back. A part was broken on our pump and two other quotes stated it needed to be entirely replaced costing in excess of $325+. Andy examined the problem and didn't encourage us to buy any unnecessary parts (which is what his competitors did & probably would have been easier for him). He only did what was required and didn't try to charge us for something we didn't need (fabulous!). He was extremely professional, courteous, and did a great job. After this great experience, we switched to Phillips for our weekly pool cleaning service too and have been using them for 3+ months. Unfortunately I haven't been very satisfied with his technician's cleaning service. The tech is here for 5-10 mins.(and time wouldn't matter to me if the job is done right). He does a mediocre & often sloppy job, (i.e., there's mold left unscrubbed on the spa tiles & under/around the curved part of the top pool tiles, spilled powder chemicals without scrubbing or flushing away w/water. We have 3 dogs so that's a concern), and seems to be irritated the entire time he's here. Overall, our experience has been a good one. Andy is a trustworthy and credible person who seems to really have his clients best interest in mind. I recommend this company to others especially if you have repairs that are needed.

He examined the problem and didn't encourage us to buy an unnecessary part even though it would've been easier on him. He only did what was required and didn't try to charge us for something we didn't need. He was very courteous and did a great job. The pool looked gorgeous when he left. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Very reasonably priced.

I left a message and he called me back with in an hour. I told him I needed it completed on a Thursday because I wanted the pool refilled by the weekend for a picnic at our house. He said no problem. He showed when promised and completed the work in a very professional manner. When he found problems with the light switches, he troubleshot them and fixed that, too. I HIGHLY recommend them. Prompt, courtesy and professional. I was skeptical based on a couple of the reviews. I clearly made the right choice. They are outstanding.

Good experience. I called Andy in the morning, left a message, he called back in the afternoon like he said he would. Because my pump had been out for several days he worked hard to get someone out to make the necessary repairs. The work was done quickly and the repairman was nice and professional. I have no means of judging the price, since this is the only pool pump I've ever replaced. I was very satisfied and would recommend Andy and his team.

Repair made next day after my call. Andy tested the electrical power source to determine if the pump, the timer, or the power supply was the reason the pump would not turn on. He had brought all of the supplies with him to replace either problem by asking me a few questions about the equipment over the phone. It was up and running within an hour. Quick and clean.

My spa heater was not working and I called Phillips after seeing reports on Angie's List. Andy responded quickly and had someone out to my house within 2 days. It still did not work and again Andy responded quickly. He said it was just a wire that hadn't been completely connected. The spa worked 2 times and then stopped again. I called again and they sent a technician out the next week. The tech said it was something in the computer control and that he could not fix it, but ''the boss'' (I assume Andy) could. However, Andy was on vacation and wouldn't be back til next week. I told him to please put me on the schedule so that I could get it fixed ASAP. After waiting til Friday of the next week I called and asked when someone was going to come out and fix my spa. Andy told me that they didn't deal with the computer stuff and that I should try a couple of other people. I would have appreciated a call in a more timely manner to let me know that I needed to find another repair company.

Andy was very responsive and knowledgeable. He might look like a beach bum but he's smart and probably one of the best pool guys around.

Since hiring this company to clean our pool, they have routinely forgotten to add our pool to their service schedule (3 weeks and counting). Every week I have to call to remind them to clean the pool. When they do arrive to clean the pool, they do not do a good job.

The pool looks like new. We have hired him to maintain our pool on a weekly basis.

Andy arrived on time, prompt as promised. As I had no estimate (he was coming to give me one), I did not know what to expect. He did tell me that I could call around to other pool services and see what they would charge, as he would beat their price. He responded promptly to my second call, and he is due to return today.
