Smoothly - great job, cleaned up after themselves with all the limbs. Even cleaned off our driveway with leaves and limbs!

They were extremely expensive for what they did, that's why we haven't used them again. It was really expensive. I have had a lot more work than that done for a lot less money. The work they did was fine and they were not doing any trimming. It was a relatively small tree. The quality was fine. It was not a difficult job. I assumed they would  grind the stump but they didn't. They were not forthcoming about that their exorbitant price would not include grinding that little tiny stump down. I don't remember but I assume they were there on time.

Alan came out to give an estimate and assess my request. He advised against the removal of some trees, saying they were perfectly healthy. He agreed with the need to remove a couple of others and discussed the possibility of trimming out dead wood in the oaks surrounding the front yard. We agreed on the price and set up a date for the work to be completed. The crew arrived on the date at the time they said they would and proceeded to work right away. They were efficient, and amenable to my requests for being careful about certain plants and cutting down a dead tree on the border of the property. When I pointed out some branches over the roof that I wanted them to remove, they were accommodating and showed respect and courtesy.
The only negative I saw was that I wish they would allow multiple coupons to be applied, but understand that they have fixed costs in their truck and other equipment that they have to cover. So, overall a good experience.

Prior to selecting Pete & Ron's, I had quotes from three other services. Pete & Ron's price was among the two best I received.  I liked how their agent described the work that would be performed. The work required pruning a very large limb with branches that sat on the roof of my house, and a couple of medium sized limps that were over a power line. When the workers arrived they let me know they were there and then began working. They were fast and efficient and completed the work including cleanup in a little over 2 hours. When I saw the result it looked even better than I imagined it would, and I couldn't be happier.

This company is incredibly unprofessional and incompetent.  One of their salesman gave (Scott) us a quote and a date to perform the work.  The day before the work was to be performed, the foreman (Kevin) came out and determined they couldn't do the job the way Scott wrote up the proposal.  So we had to postpone the work for two weeks.  Then a few days before the rescheduled date they called to postpone again.  Finally on the third date, a guy shows up and takes our fence down (finally a good sign)!  Then the rest of the crew shows up and tells us they were going to get started.  But 20 minutes later, the entire crew was gone.  No one said a word to us, they just left.  After several hours of calling the company, Kevin and Scott we finally contacted Scott who told us they weren't going to do the job and then he started laughing.  Incredibly unprofessional.  We talked to Kevin and he had no reason either, just didn't want to do the work.  By the way, we got 8 quotes and P & R was the highest.  We went with them due to the size of the company.  We figured better be safe than sorry.  What a mistake.  I've since learned that they may be more of a broker than anything else.  In other words, they sell the work and then give it to others to actually do the work.  Please, be VERY careful of this company.  Incredibly unprofessional and incompetent.

This provider came out and cut and trim my trees. They took all of the limbs and wood and put it in the drainage ditch. They were going to remove it the next day but it was suppose to rain that day. I had to have them come back out to clean up right away. Work wasn't bad it was just the fact that they did not understand that by blocking the drainage area, it would flood the neighborhood.

This project needed a city permit and HOA approval before work could be done.  Our estimator, Alan, was extremely helpful in answering our questions and giving guidance.  Kristy, the office manager, was a huge help in getting the permit paperwork submitted timely.  Once we had clearance to proceed by the city inspector and HOA, Pete and Ron's scheduled the work very quickly.  The actual workers who came out to remove the tree were very nice, and they had the tree down very quickly.  The stump removal was done a few days later.  A minor repair was needed, which Pete and Ron's happily took care of.  We were very happy with the end result and would definitely use Pete and Ron's again in the future!

See above- we are not new to tree trimming- our old house had many trees on our lot.  When we had them trimmed and they cut a whole lot more than Pete and Rons did... the total cost was half of what Pete and Rons charged us!  The post trimming clean up was much better as well!

Scott came out and surveyed the trees that we wanted trimmed.  He explained to us that very little needed to be done to the two trees we had in the front of the property.  The tree on the side of our property (next to the house), however, was his biggest concern and he explained that they would be cutting the most out of this tree to "clean" it out to keep it from damaging the house should we have a hurricane.  The fourth tree needed some cleaning out and they even cut some limbs away from our avocado tree to see if it would produce some avocados with a little more sun.  The workers were professional and left our property cleaner than they found it.  Our neighbor across the street came over and got a business card from one of the workers.

I was impressed by the arborist who inspected the tree originally and gave me the estimate of the cost. The contract was clear, the company did all the work associated with getting a permit from the county to remove the tree and the company also provided their Certificate of Liability Insurance in the original packet that I received.
The actual tree removal went very smoothly and was completed within a day by a crew of three men.  The clean-up was also very thorough.  The stump grinder came about 3 days later to grind the remaining stump and roots.  As anyone who has a large tree removed knows, the homeowner is left with a huge mound of wood chips to be removed.  The tree removal company advises that the chips can be used as mulch around the house and garden.  Not wanting to use the chips in this way, I hired someone to remove the chips ($200) but eventually he ran into hard wood and roots.  I asked the company to come out and take a look at what was left and was originally told that it would cost another $450 to remove the remaining roots and take the stump to the level of the the rest of the lawn.  Many months later, I was able to get another company representative to come out and agree that the area needed additional stump grinding which was done at their expense.
The reason for the "B" rating was the problem with the stump.  Otherwise, I found this company to be very good and I would use them again but I don't think that the issue with the stump was handled well originally.  I think that what to do with the stump is something that is generally not explained very clearly to homeowners.

Workers arrived on time.  The foreman on the job reviewed the scope of the work with me before they started.  It took approx. 1 1/2 hrs to complete.  When finished, I was asked if their work was done to my satisfaction.  I requested another small branch be removed, & they did this without hesitation.  When I questioned why certain limbs were not removed, I was given a thorough, logical explanation.  The next day, I was called to see if all work was performed according to the contract.
I have only one criticism, and this involves scheduling.  When I signed the contract, I was told the week during which the work would be performed & was told that the office would call me the day before.  As much as I tried, it was impossible to hold open the entire week.  They DID call the Friday before they were to arrive on Monday to do the job, but the call came 20 min. before closing time.  I was out so only received a message.  Monday afternoon was not possible for me.  Inasmuch as the scheduling call came so late in the workday immediately prior, I was forced to leave a message for them on a Saturday.  After rescheduling, the call to confirm the new date/start time came 25 min. before close of business on the day prior.  I strongly suggest that the company give the customer more notice.  After a 2 week wait, a 20 min. window to respond is hardly reasonable.

The arborist arrived as scheduled.  He spent a lot of time inspecting all the trees in the yard including the tree to be removed.  He showed me what limbs should be removed to allow more sun in the yard.
The trimming crew arrived as scheduled.  They were very professional.  All jobs done and clean up was complete.  They took care that no fences or other areas were damaged.

It was a good experience.  The only thing was that they did not get the stumps out but we paid them to do that.  In fact we had them come back to do it and paid them again.  The price was okay.  They took the trees down and what they did with the trees was really good but they left a big part of the stumps.  We had paid to get those taken out.  They cleaned up their mess and they cleaned up our neighbor's yard too.  Their response was great.  They were on time.  We've recommended them.

They were not professional, and they didn't do the job they estimated to do. I did not like their work manner, and they were willing to fix the things that I wasn't happy. I have not yet received a bill from them.

The workers arrived on time as promised.  They were joined by Alan who did the initial inspection.  He went over the work detailed in the proposal by walking the property with the workers.  My trees had never been trimmed in the 15 years we've lived here which included a hedge that looked like a tree line.  They worked hard, were professional and answered all my questions.  They also did a good job with the clean up.  My yard looks so much better now and I no longer have huge branches hanging near my roof and lanai.    I'm a very happy customer.

They clean up after themselves.  They are very neat and very professional.  Their prices are very reasonable.  We found them to be very reasonable and they would do what they set up.  I can't recommend them high enough.  They cut, clean, prune, rake and do a good job.  They gave me a schedule as to when they could get here and they were here probably within 5, in a timely schedule.  Their professionalism was fantastic.

This last time, they removed the mistletoe out of the tree and are trying to save the tree by trimming it up. We?ve asked for their assistance on several tree projects.

Their employees are prompt, and professional. Their estimates match the work they do- there are no surprises. I called them today to have an estimate for having the trees trimmed this year, while their prices are higher than some, they are well worth it. I recommend them highly.
