They are so honest, if you don't need anything they will tell you. They are punctual and very good. I moved to New Jersey and I still call them for advice and second opinions. Very professional company whom I highly recommend.

They are my go to mechanic. They are the most honest people I've ever met in the automotive industry. They won't tell you that something needs to be fixed that doesn't. They fix the problem right and won't charge you until the problem is fixed.

I have been using Pand M for about a year after being referred there by a close friend. Before that I was still using the dealer to have my service work completed. After learning that Regal Acura in Lakeland was overcharging me and others on service work I started going to Pand M Garage. I dropped my car off around 7:30 AM and they called just after 1:00 to tell me the car was ready to go.
Ross always give me a complete breakdown along with his expert recommendations. Excellent service and great work.

Pand M Automotive is a trust-worthy business. Chris and Ross are superb, honest individuals and stand behind their work. I have been using Pand M Automotive for about 10 years now and I've never been disappointed!

I have used Pand M for about 15 years now. They are very honest, have very reasonable prices and perform quality work. They will inform you of what absolutely needs to be fixed and items that could be fixed, but, are not essential - no pressure or inflated comments about needing to fix a bunch of items. They stand behind their work and redo it even if they receive faulty parts from their supplier.

We have older cars that always seem to need something fixed. We always take them to Pand M because we trust them to fix what needs to be done and be honest about the scope of work - a rarity in a mechanic! Both Chris and Ross are great to work with - they are flexible with drop off and pickup and payments (They have trusted us to leave a check for work performed after they closed and we had already picked up our car). They will provide a verbal estimate over the phone based on your description and then will give you a detailed estimate once they have evaluated your car. The estimates are always spot on!
They are very honest about what needs to be done - we have taken our car there to get the brakes replaced only to be told that they had at least 20K miles of life left in them. I also took my car there once to get a leaking tire looked at - they patched the tire, told me it would be $5, and when I didn't have the cash on me, they told me not to worry about it. (You better believe I dropped off $5 to them the next day!).
We often have them change the oil if we are having other things done, and they are upfront that it will cost more than if you go to one of the quick oil change places - doesn't bother me because I hate dealing with all the upselling that occurs at those places!
They use new parts, or refurbished parts if you request them. They have also tracked down parts at junkyards for me for things if I am trying to save money. Their labor rates are very fair - they are always less expensive than anyone else and their quality of work is outstanding.
Whenever I hear anyone is looking for a mechanic, I refer them to Pand M, and have always gotten positive feedback. Their business thrives on word of mouth, they don't need to do any advertising!

They are competitive, honest, and stand behind their work. They are also very prompt and reliable.

They are excellent. They are very honest. If they can't do it they usually have a referral to send you to someone that they would back up. They are very good and very accommodating. You can leave your car there overnight and it is behind a locked gate.

I am reminded of the movie and quot;Miracle on 34th Streetand quot; when Santa directs a customer to their competitor where they can get a better deal on the product they sought. Much like Santa, Chris (Chris....Christmas, coincidence? Hah!) spent about 15 minutes with me essentially explaining how to save my money and do the work myself. He could have easily taken my money and likely fixed my vehicle and I would have never known any different, in fact I'm certain that I would have found it a great deal even then. I now have a small list of things to try before spending money on their professional services.
This was NOT merely a quote or estimate, this was valuable time spent helping me to understand and learn to fix my own vehicle. This is why I did not place this in the comments section, as this was a valued service that just happened to be performed for free (I entered $1.00 above to bypass any possible form errors.) I asked to pay, but Chris refused. I would not expect them to do this every time for every customer, so I wouldn't walk in with the expectation of free advice. But I think Chris realized that I could manage some of these things on my own and that they would be there should I need more professional help. I decided that the least I could do was to leave a review on Angie's List. From what I can tell, the reviews for Pand M on A.L. are not something they seek, but something that has naturally occurred from people like myself that want to do something to help spread the word.
This was my first time using Angie's List and I have to say that it was spot on. My Chevy dealership had exhausted their usefulness (told me that a misfire was and quot;normaland quot;) and I was not looking forward to going to an AAMCO or whatever other chains are in the area. Thankfully Pand M already had a good track record on A.L. and they lived up to the hype and even surpassed it.
In conclusion, Chris and his son Ross appear to have a thriving business that is well hidden in a very accessible area just South of SR60 and West of 301. If you're considering general auto service and you want someone that is reputable and won't just act as a parts installer, then Pand M is your destination.

He has done several things for us. He does regular maintenance, and when we go on a trip we take it to him to check to make everything is working. He recently recommended someone to do transmission work that he was not able to do. He was punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use his services again.
