We called for a termite inspection. Tom was amazing! He came in with a mask (due to COVID) without having to ask, and was very in depth looking at the termites we have, checking the crawl space, and explaining everything to us. He explained what we will need. When I asked about another treatment (that the house had previously had before us), he explained that it wouldn't be helpful for our type. I love someone who will take time to explain and not just sell you anything. We are waiting to purchase the treatment while we do some other repairs, but he sold us the day he came out!

I requested immediate termite service on my home on April 18th. The ORKIN team was quick to respond and present me with a contract that needed to be signed. The team reported to my address without the proper tools to get the job done. They did not have the adequate sized drill bit to drill beyond my foundation slab, although they did spray around the perimeter of my home and place traps. During the ORKIN team visit, they stated they would return on Monday 4/23 to drill and kill the swarm of subterranean termites at the problem area while I was at work. The ORKIN team did not return and no action was taken to immediately resolve my termite issue. I chose to work with Orkin to get immediate results, in which they failed to fulfill their promise. The ORKIN team did not call or attempt to reschedule my appointment. The team did not notify me they would not be able to make the appointment, nor did they ever contact me about rescheduling. Days after the scheduled appointment, after I performed an inspection of the area to be addressed, I noticed no drilling or any procedures were performed. I immediately contacted the ORKIN team, via sales rep Cliff Harris, who was taking lead on my account, stating I no longer wanted ORKIN to perform the job under contract. I stated I did not feel comfortable working with ORKIN, as they were not trustworthy or efficient, and I wanted their traps removed from my property. I have a very tight work schedule and do not have the time to monitor if Orkin will report to the job and perform as they promise. I need guaranteed action. As a result of Orkin’s untimely and unprofessional actions, I had to postpone the renovations of my house for an additional week in order to get my termite problem resolved as originally promised, and applied Terminix to the area effect on my own. Cliff Harris, unsatisfied with my decision, stated I must have an alternative motive. After contact with the Tampa ORKIN Regional Sales Manager, Howard Cohn, I was given the recommendation to still use ORKINs service and allow his team to drill holes into my foundation, as the job description initially stated in the contract. Due to my minimum experience with termites, I stated I wanted to speak with my father get get a second opinion. In result, ORKINs branch manager, Kevin Koehler, stated I did not respond within 48 hours after speaking with the regional sales manager and now ORKIN would no longer make adjustments to the contract. I just received a bill for $1,350 and have had no work performed by ORKIN to terminate my termites.

They come every month. The price was reasonable. It is something like $40.00 every two months.

Was very uncomfortable with certain workers that were sent to my home and I soon terminated my contract.

They do pretty well. I think the quality is good.

I don't have to wait for them to come. If I have them, I can just call them and they will come. No charge for that. They just have to spray inside if they have to. They will knock on the door and let me know they are outside spraying so I am not wondering who is out there. They also show up when they are supposed to. I don't have any problems with them. They are very nice.

We have been using their services for 18 years. They are very professional and always call ahead to remind us when they will be there. We have no bugs because of them- so they always do a good job.

My experience with them is not positive. Their pricing is too high. The man was really nice. He came out and did his job.

They come out right away. They first spray outside all around the house then they come in and do each room. They will leave these little packets on the floor behind furniture for any little pest that might come in. They are reliable and do the job right. The guy we have is very reliable and he gets the job done.

I don't have a problem with insects. They go beyond what you would normally expect. I have used them for the past 15 years. I think their price is reasonable and not over priced. You can call them anytime, and they will come as many times as you call without charging anything.

Their contract came with the house when I got it in the '70s. I didn't research the contract or anything. When they do come out, they seem to do good work. If I had to do it over again, I'm not positive that I would have picked them. The house had termites over ten years ago, and they retreat it.
