Nautical Marine

The owner and workers there definitely know their stuff. Did an awesome service on my boat engine and now I can finally take my kids out for a boat ride without worrying that my engine would fail. They went above and beyond by even helping and showing me any trouble shooting if anything else where to happen. They have good knowledge and are passionate about what they do and I love it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a boat or service!

The owner seems like a nice guy but relies on seemingly bad techs that could not figure out what was a matter with my engine. The actually took the engine out, told me three or four different scenarios of what it might be. In the end they could not fix it and I had to go somewhere else (Piper Marine down the road on Hillsborough Avenue) who fixed it in a few days (without taking the engine out). The good news is they did not charge me anything but my boat was out for about 2-3 weeks with Nautical Marine.

We came to the store at 9 AM on Aug 1, 2014 and no one was at the shop working. Called Frank at 9:20, no answer. Called frank at 9:40 no answer. Called Frank at 9:50 no answer. I asked on the recording if he wanted me to stay or go. Phoned back at 9:55 and told me that he was held up in Clearwater and to just leave the boat without a repair ticket, so they could start work on the boat the following Monday. We informed Frank that my only source of income was a retirement check and that I could not agree to have the shop on a spend as they wanted basis. Not going back. Estimated repair needed by our account is over $2000.00.which is not chump change. vw , oldsmar fl

I wanted to do something a little different and do a Sunbrella like material on all my boat cushions and knee boards. Nautical had not really done this work before. They did a good job and delivered all the pieces in a timely manner. I recommend them and hope they continue in this area.
