MY ENERGY LOAN

We spoke on the phone first to Jeffrey Cole, and he personally was quite easy to talk to. He listened to our questions and needs, and gave us answers that sounded very much like what we wanted to hear. But when it came time to work out the actual numbers, he transferred our account to a sub-contractor (or whatever the term is) in Los Angeles. The sub-contractor did not listen to us nearly as well, and tried to sell us a loan that was not right for us. The sub-contractor was also very aggressive in trying to get us to act before we had time to consider our options. When we asked directly for estimates on three different products--which we described specifically--to compare with those from another company, we found HomeFirst had the higher costs. We went with the other company, and afterward Jeff Cole called us to ask, again rather aggressively, why we didn't choose HomeFirst. We were left with the impression of a hard-sell, form-over-substance operation.
