They were very professional and very helpful when it comes to the size of the moving van you will need. They don't make you pay for extra footage. I had no problems with them, and they were great to deal with. You do most of the packing, and they move the items.

All they do is provide the trucks.  They direct you to Eagle Management to hire laborers to move our belongings.  They promised me two 50 ft truck at my storage unit on June 22nd.  They showed up with one of the trucks halfway full with another persons belongings.  We couldn?t get all of my things in there, so I had to hire Mohawk to pick up the slack.  I was shorted 10 ft at least. 

They run out of pads as an excuse to stop working.  I had another truck scheduled to come to the house Thursday June 23rd I was renting to move my belongings out.  They called me less than 1 day before they were scheduled to move my belongings and said they didn?t have a truck.  They said they would come on the next day.  I was supposed to be out of the house and had a flight to Florida.  I eventually found out that they didn?t have a truck for another 2 weeks. 

I have contacted my lawyer and they have sent me a letter stating they will refund their portion of the services.  I am still out having to spend extra money on hiring other truck.  I have heard from other people that they promise refunds and never actually send it.  I am still trying to get the refund for the rental of the trucks.

The company they recommended Eagle Management who contracted out the labor to Mama's Moving.  Mama's Moving destroyed my home and furniture.  They took multiple smoke breaks.  My mother and I had to pick up the slack.  They didn't assemble any of the furniture when we arrived in Tampa.  Now I have to hire another company to come in and put together the furniture.  They dinged up alot of the walls.  The botched up everything. 

Generally very well. Both Movex and the subcontracted truckers were friendly, helpful and responsive. Some minor damage in moving, and more work than hiring a full service moving company, but a fraction of the cost (I'd estimate the same move conventionally would have cost 3-4x based on estimates I received). In one case Movex helped us find local help at both ends for loading and unloading, in one case the driver and his assistant actually helped for a very reasonable fee.

Overall, everything went smoothly. Only wish it could have been delivered sooner.
