The replacement was perfect, the crew was very professional and nice; they finished the work in less time than they said. I used them for everything every fixing job in my house.

Not well. I had paid for twice a year inspection/service calls. I called, but I was charged for a service call and then the technician couldn't repair the air conditioner. He said someone else would have to come to give an estimate for replacement. So I had to have another visit by another person. He said it would require a new A/C system and a new air handler, which I hadn't had problems with, but both were 11 years old and out of warranty. I had another visit for a "room a/c" installation the next day, then the A/C could not be installed for a week. The "room units" did not cool sufficiently for me to stay, so I had to move out for the next several days. I took the day off work for the installation of the a/c unit and the air handling unit, which took about 8 hours. The new A/C did not cool as well as the old unit did, and the air handler was extremely noisy. Then another person was to set up an inspection by the city. After over a month, it still had not been done. I was so fed up, I told them I'd do it myself, which I did. A week later I got a call from Midway in order to set up an inspection. I told the man it had already been done, as I said I would do. No apology. He only asked if it had passed. I said it did. All in all, I was not satisfied with Midway's service. And I it looks like I will never get any value out of the annual service contract that I paid for.

We were not told that it would take 2 professions- an electrician and a plumber. Electrician showed up on time and fixed the problem at an unusually high cost, and the plumber never showed that day. We were told that we would get a $25 discount for services performed the following day. Plumber showed up on time but gave estimate of $570 to repair/replace pressure relief valve. I thanked him and declined his ridiculous estimate. Called another licensed plumber who replaced the PRV for $130.

I would recommend this company to anyone. The staff is polite and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable with all the guys in our home. They walked us through every step and all our options. They provided reputable subs for the drywall and insulation at an excellent price. My electric bill is way down this summer, and the unit is so quiet you don't hear it at all. They had to remove the old equipment from our low ceilinged, narrow attic space. Couldn't be happier with the repair and cleanup. This is a good company. I'm sure we'll be using them again. They do just about any service, not just ac.

Never showed up or called to cancel.

We had an emergency with our garbage disposal and needed it replaced asap. The gentleman that came out was nice and did a good job with the repair. The problem was the pricing. The first quote he gave me was for almost $700 to replace the disposal. Luckily, I knew better and negotiated the price down, but I did not appreciate the dishonesty and hassle.

Called Midway to clear a clogged toilet when my regular plumber was unavailable. The representative arrived on time, spent less than 15 minutes in the house, and charged $168. versus the $65. I have spent several times in the past to have the same problem resolved by a different plumber. The representative proceeded to complain about taking an Angie's List coupon (which he ultimately didn't - I wasn't going to argue about it) as well as his workload and how many more calls he had to make that evening. I would not use this service again, primarily because I felt the price for the time spent was exorbitant, and also because I had no interest in hearing about this guy's problems. Also, services should not advertise if a discount if they aren't willing to apply it.

I was impressed with the professionalism of the service man and the timely manner in which he fixed the problem.

They came yesterday. I did get a discount for being an AL member. I saved 15 dollars. It went very well. He was on time. He was thorough and efficient. He was pleasant I would recommend them and use them again.
